Immigrants Stage Week-Long Boycott in Colorado

news.yahoo.com

Last week lawmakers in Washington introduced the so-called STRIVE Act, which would allow undocumented immigrants to obtain legal residency in the United States after paying a fee and undergoing a background check. It would also create a program to allow nearly half a million people to enter the country each year to work low-skill jobs.

Some immigration reform proponents have already come out against the bill, which also includes a slew of measures to ratchet up security along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Here the US is willing to let illegal immigrants to be be able to stay in our country.(instead of prosecuting them), and they have the nerve to question our government, and hold "rallies" saying they have a "right" to be in the US and they are going to do "boycotts" (?) even though they don't pay taxes like every other US citizen has too and have NO right to even be in the US to begin with?

This is really just mind boggling to me that they aren't all just rounded up and sent back to Mexico when they pull this crap!

They are ILLEGAL immigrants!

Illegal Aliens Must Go!

America was built by Immigrants--LEGAL immigrants.

Every sidewalk they walk on, every road they drive on, every cop they may call, every fireman that may come to their assistance if they get in an accident, is paid for with taxes that they don't pay, and I'm not even going to start on the health care or educational issue.

I don't think there is another country in the world that would just allow people to just cross their borders and come into their country, at their own free Will, and work and live in that country the way that the US does.

But, this is suppose to be accepted in the US.

Check out Mexico's immigration laws.

Mexico's Immigration Law: Let's Try It Here at Home

Mexico has a radical idea for a rational immigration policy that most Americans would love. However, Mexican officials haven’t been sharing that idea with us as they press for our Congress to adopt the McCain-Kennedy immigration reform bill.

That's too bad, because Mexico, which annually deports more illegal aliens than the United States does, has much to teach us about how it handles the immigration issue. Under Mexican law, it is a felony to be an illegal alien in Mexico.

I'm all for giving them citizenship!

Let them pay taxes too, the more the merrier.

US immigration law should be modeled after Mexico's. The idiots who say our laws are racist have nothing to say about Mexico, why is that. We even had sen.Reid[D] of Nevada say the english language is racist.Mexico tells US attorneys to prosecute border agents, and they do it!. The media shoves this crap down our throat, there just here to work, whatever. There not here to work, there here to get something for nothing. No other country on earth allows this to happen, none. As long as there is money to be made, anything goes.Profit at any cost.Mexico allows this also, after all why should Mexico take care of their own when they can have the US do it.Mexico allows drugs to cross the border, why should they stop it.It's a multi billion dollar business, the majority of that money stays in Mexico, bolstering their economy.

Quote from original article

SAN FRANCISCO, Mar 29 (OneWorld) - Immigrant rights activists in Colorado have launched a week-long economic boycott, saying they want to show how big an impact immigrants have on the economy.

I'm sure there aren't too many people that don't know how big of an impact that immigrants have on the US economy.

I just think that they should be in the US legally and paying taxes while having an impact on the economy.

I personally feel that if they hold a rally, the national guard should be called up to round those criminals up and dump them on the other side of the border.

AMERICANS have the right to rally and hold assembly. MEXICANS do not.
