I'm curious as to what exactly it is that some of You find so offensive. Is it because of the medium used? The title of the piece? The nudity? What is it? What if the sculpter used milk chocolate because white choc. is so difficult to work with? What if He named the piece because He truely believes that Jesus was a sweet and loving soul? What if He chose to sculpt Him nude to show Jesus' vulnerability in His human form?

If God were ever to be offended do You really think that with all of the evils We have done as humans He's worried about an edible sculpture of his son? Why let it offend You? Why not let it pass? Maybe Your God is using this instance to teach You about acceptance of others and to not be judgemental or condemning. How will You fare? Why is there so much energy spent on such trivial things? Are You afraid that what You perceive as this gentlemans sacrilege will be projected upon You if You don't stand up and reject it? Or that You will be held accountable when the time comes if You don't? If We are ever to be judged or weighed it will be directly related to how We as humans treat one another. Your God does not need You to defend Him, He's got it all under control, He's just kickin' back watching the show.

Peace. K*

That was so incredibly well said!
There's nothing I can really add to that.
It would appear that this statement has achieved the point I struggled to make earlier.
Thank you, for being so eloquent and straight to the point.
You have my utmost respect.

That is pretty amazing. I don't think anymore needs to be added.

If a true Christian can't overcome such a petty "assault,” I’d say their faith might be lacking.

"My Sweet Lord"

Now that’s funny, there is nothing wrong with humor in religion.

Jesus being naked is rather weird, but it is art. I say let the exhibition continue. People are way to up tight over nudity. I applaud this artist.

Who ever said it was an assult. I think that these extreme christians that believe in god only on sundays and on christmas, or easter need to recheck theirselves at the door. How can a Image of a Chocolete Christ offend anyone. Damn, what if it was a chocolete Satan. Then their might be a problem. But to not show his art work after they had said they were, should be a good law suiet for the artist. I just think that it is another ploy by the government to reduce out rights to nothing.

I still like the idea of "Buddha Bon-Bons", and "Karamel Kovered Krishna Kookies".
