Last night my life was threated, because of the threads I was posting.
Today I got a visit by two CIA agents, I told my wife to answer the door, and she told them that I was not here, they went away and left their card.
I must be uncovering certain things they do not want advertised.
this is starting to get a little hairy, i will now have to call upon my goon squad.
If anyone has any advice or comments please let me know, If for some reason you don't notice me here on the boards for a while in the up in coming day you will know that something has in fact happened to me.
God help us all!

Most of it was done via U2U
When we see something like this, we investigate.
There are no threatening U2U's sent to this member... in fact, his in-box has several cordial messages.
A posting ban is being applied while we consider what to do with this apparent hoax.

For starters, what pharoah said about the u2u's was not that he received threatening u2u's. Rather, when he was asked what he posted that the cia was interested in, he said it was about a thread and some u2u's.
I might be wrong but I think he was claiming the u2u's contained information that interested the CIA.

That said, I think the aspect of this that deserves attention is not the so called threats from the CIA to a specific member but the idea that these boards are monitored by a gov't agent and the question raised is "are we at risk for posting our beliefs and information?"

Rather than discuss the individual's story, let's flesh out the overall possibility of this happening and megacurious, if you could give more specific details as to your situation, that might help.
Personally, if I was contacted by any gov't offices as a result of my posting here, I would probably stop posting here. Call me a coward if you must but I cannot see how anyone in their right mind would get a call from a gov't agency and continue raising their eyebrows over a website, even this one.

megacurious, until we see the CIA business card, we don't even know if he was telling the truth about the whole thing. Remember, he was escorted home with a guarding group of 200 Homeland Security agents, according to another post of his so perhaps he's into telling tall tales. We don't know for sure but we do know that he claims to have a business card which has yet to be scanned and posted, making his claim very much less believable.
I look forward to hearing your story.
