I'm curious as to what you are saying.
Could you elaborate for me please?
I'm very much interested.

The President is the Chief Executive and the Commander-in-Chief. He is well within his rights to veto the legislation.
We do not fight wars by popular vote in this country.
It's been a long time since we had a President with cajones and it's blowing liberals' minds.
Get a grip.
If the Congress doesn't like the veto, they can override it.
It's the way the system works.
My question again is, if the American people really supported a troop pullout (defeat in Iraq), why would Senators have to to bribed into supporting this bill?
