I am not sure if anyone has asked this question, but what if one of us or our childern that is actually Titor. The history that is described is one that could be interpreted manys ways, and the Russain angle is coming into play more each day. I have always thought it an interesting story, but I had this what if? I have always thought the story interesting...

In the realm of Titor conspiracy, has anyone ever thought of this question? thanks in advance....

Firstly... I would say that we still have a little over one year to go before we get our next Olympics (China)

I'm not saying I believe the Titor story, just attempting to answer your latter question...

BTW why were people so quick to believe him? anyways sure anyone one could be the fraud 'john titor' it could be you .who knows. just my opinion

The Titor story has many interesting angles and was obviou9sly written by an extremely intelligent and knowledgeable person.

I always thought that the Titor story was a student of Michio Kaku... or maybe it was really Michio himself
Michio is an advocate of the Many worlds scenario.

As to why so many people believe in Titor... Well first and foremost, people wanted it to be real... and Secondly as the story unfolded it was very difficult to point to any one peice of the story and say you were wrong there Ergo the story is a hoax...

The only peace of evidence that I can think of that has been debunked was an image of the bent laser beam caused said Titor by the warping of space time...

The fact was that this image could easily be reproduced by using a laser pointer and a strand of glass fibre.

I have always said and maintain... Believe what ever you want to believe but don't believe just because someone said it is so!!

All the best,

NeoN HaZe.

Titor is a hoax. Therefore, none of us or our children could be him.
It would have been cool if it was true ... but it wasn't.

Titor doesn't exist in the timeline we're in. There was no Civil War in 2005. Even if someone did come back in time to post the information as we see it, none of it is relevant since we're tangent to the world he experienced. Basically his efforts in our timeline were a waste and there will be no future Titor in this timeline who will go back in time in the future. He doesn't exist to us.

Right. More proof that this timeline doesn't have a Titor.

When concerning Time travel the only reasonable way to solve the paradox problem was with the many world scenarios

I would venture as far as to say that there is no multiple worlds or timelines, there is no future or past. Just the present.

This... The Now.. Is all there is.

Nothing in the past or the future exists within any dimension.

If you like, there is no path by which you can walk to a location in the past. There is only what is happening now.

Some would say the future is slightly different because it is a culmination of the present or for it the past... or is it??

I say that what we perceive as the future is merely an extrapolation of possibilities.

In other words the present is the coherence of potentiality....

What we see as the universe is at its fundamental levels pure potentiality. Time is just our limited way of relating to the universe.

All the best,

NeoN HaZe.

I hear you Neon Haze. I've just found that this is the most reasonable arguement you can make with those that believe unreasonable things.

What we see as the universe is at its fundamental levels pure potentiality. Time is just our limited way of relating to the universe.

Super!
Basically one of the conclusions that I've arrived at. Time is our understanding or way of dealing with extra dimensions.

This was more of a mind picking post to see how people felt. To me, Titor in one timeline could be John Smith in another. IN a timeline fracture, why would you have to have the exact same name? Could it not jsut be the entity(soul) that possesses that person in one timeline is a male, in another a female. Maybe I am looking to far into this. Could the reason a person could not answer alot of questions is because the timeline they came from may be different than the one we are experiencing.

i know this thread died a few days ago but ill answer your question as best as it can be answered.

TYPE1 if titor s real then hes indeed one of us, he should be the age of 8-9.

TYPE2 if titor is fraud he is still one of us, living somwhere laughing his guts out.

I just can't help myself, I tend to tune into the things that have come to pass and I really enjoyed contemplating the possibility of a future where people are able to 1 survive to the year 2039 and also the possibility that my children could survive to become adults. In an insecure world, John offered some real insights about what we take for granted as a society and a posssible wake up call to see things in a different light. He did noone any harm and has become somewhat of a time travelers icon. I purchased the book and was sorely let down. But I still continue to raise my children to have more knowledge about survival and health and food water and each other, just in case. There are things that have come to pass 2 things that come to mind the first being 100,00 people are killed in an unexpected catastrophy(Tsunami),Irac, Africa, Earthquakes, Volcano's... and then also about a female president in the year 2009. I always thought humm, now what if a female becomes vice President and then within 1 year the president dies. Also he spoke about mad cow long before it was common knowledge. And my personal favorite and the reason that reguardless of real or fake, was his feelings about the single most insane act of this day and age " Genetically modified foods, and Hybridized seeds." Our food sources are out of controll and it is in my oppinion why the bee's are dying in astronomical numbers. The whole planet is off kilter and out of balance.I would hope that if there were a future where my son's could travel to warn me and to try to avert my demise, that they would do all they could to do just that. If it was true he sacrificed greatly to come here.If it is fake ,well alot of people in my neck of the woods are benifiting from my bountiful rich and organic gardens.

The reason (imo) why people believed in him so quickly, can be described by one simple word... hope.

Some hope he's wrong... Some hope he's right. and some hope he is lying.

Hi,
Just thought i would drop this comment into the mix.

Stars give out light

Light travels at the speed of ...umm... light

we recieve the light on earth the number of light years a star is away from us ie if a star is 4 millions light years away from us then each bit of light we see is 40 million light years old, therefore there is a past.

The end

no offense... but what does that have to do with the topic of this thread?

hes saying the past does exist. neon haze said it doesnt.

i used to say it doesnt exist b/c it already happened. but i reckon there might be a 'viewing' technology we do not know yet that would allow us to 'view' the past, like a film reel, but not like its actually physical, itll just be 'on the screen', to watch, but you can't go into it and start interacting in it. you can only watch what happened. and if you see yourself thats fine, it would be like watching a home video recorded years prior.

now, as to the future, i think it can be seen, and possibly even played with.

if you travel faster than light, you'll end up in the future, but you wont be able to return, its a one way only trip. thats my opinion. i think thats how the old testament / new testament prophets prophecized what they did.. they were shown 'visions', by 'something' (God, aliens), of the future, and they wrote it down.

some say faster than light isnt possible. if the big bang theory happened as it's explained in theory, the first 7 seconds of expansion moved faster than light, the force of the blast or w/e was so strong it literally pushed the stuff outward faster than LIGHT for the first 7 seconds. that tells me its possible.

why wouldnt it be. i mean. if we could create enough force to project something that damn fast, we could test it out and see for ourselves.

Ow... now I see. I have to agree with Neon with this. The past doesn't exist, ergo it has existed. And whatever we do in the present will affect the future
.

some say faster than light isnt possible.

It's possible... a black hole (or a singularity) can shoot out some type of radiation at about twice the speed of light (Steven Hawking discovered this).

if we could create enough force to project something that damn fast, we could test it out and see for ourselves.

If we could create/replicate something with that kind of force/energy... then the earth would disintegrate/disappear... Personally, I wouldn't want them to try and experiment with that.

If your name states "John Titor" on your birth certificate then you are in fact John Titor.
