Pursuant to Sub-Section 8, Paragraph C of Executive Branch Classified Directive #13334-P, dated 1 May 2004, the Armed Forces of the United States stand directed by President George W. Bush to accelerate preparations for compulsory induction of the adult non-homosexual population into active combat duty in the War Against Terror. Henceforth, and in accordance with established Federal conscriptional provisions, all male and female citizens aged 16-45 must register for the impending draft. Each registrant's personal information will undergo rigorous computer analysis to compile a profile of overall physical, mental, and moral fitness prior to the issuing of orders to report for basic training.

WARNING: Persons failing to register prior to the impending invasions of Iran and North Korea will be classified as deserters and become subject to the penalties prescribed therefore by the Rules and Articles of War, up to and including incarceration for a period not to exceed fifteen (15) calendar years and fines up to $125,000.00.

Is this true? I didn't know about this. My son turns 16 tomorrow. I thought he didn't have to register till 18. I didn't know I had to register being a woman either. I'm 39 and a mother of 3. This does not sound like something for me.

Can some one tell me why we have not heard about this in the news? Cause if this is legit it should be widely reported till everyone gets this information. Someone talk to me about this please.

I don't think there should be false ones like this. That scared the crap out of me.

NO! It's completely bogus.

The Army doesn't even take people past the age of 35 .. and yet here you supposedly have something saying that people even as old as 45 are going to be forced into combat.

This is crap.

Yeah I know imagine how dumb I felt when I realized I went to the wrong web site.

I went to white house.org and found that link.

I should of went to white house.gov.

The government should NOT ALLOW any web sites to exist with the words white house except the offical one.

Not everyone is computer savvy.

Hi Shar, I dont want to upset you but it is almost inevitable that the draft will be introduced especially if the US attacks Iran.

The US army is over committed and short of men already, a further war on top of existing commitments means that if such a war turned into another Iraq then the draft would come.

This is especially so as the US is loosing support from countries not wanting to back it in the ME.

Its all well and good people saying what American can and cannot do but this does not take into account the other side of the coin, its been 4 years in Iraq already, can you remember when the effigies of Saddam were being torn down, Bush, Rumsfeld and co told us that the war was over, well as the old saying goes never trust a politician.

A likely scenario for the ME if the US does attack Iran that Iran will fight back and will unite with the Iraqis, this will require far more troops on the ground. If the conflict goes wider well you better start doing them squat thrusts.

Or plan B America does another Vietnam and goes home, but thats the rub is it not, the US cannot take another loss of face so I'm affraid that its going to be a slug fest.

There will be no draft. The US military has plenty of people who will fight. Remember there are other branches and not just the army fights in wars. Plus we have plenty of fighter pilots just looking to get to drop some bombs.

I disagree that we have enough people. If that statement were true than our own National Guard would not had to go over seas just to fight. The national guard is suppose to stay at home to protect the home front not go off to war some place else.

Noooo, please don't say that. I just don't need to leave my children behind. No-one will be able to take care of them.

That's not what I been told. I was told when my son turns 18 he has to register.

Not every one has a voters registration card.

Yes he has to register when he is 18. There won't be a draft. The military is actually forcing some people out because we have too many people. Think of registering being about the same as insurance.........you need it, but do you actually plan on wrecking your car?

Recent attempts to reinstate the draft have been introduced by Democrats, and have been crushed by Republicans.

Now that Demcrats control Congress, those that oppose the Draft may have something to fear.
