That would certainly get people's attention.

The question is, would terrorists lose casual muslim support by attacking a children's hospital? I don't know. It seems like the attack on the WTC, due to its prominent place in Americana, was universally seen as an attack on the BUILDING...whereas an attack on St. Judes would be an attack on CHILDREN.

I'm not sure if that made sense...

Ironically, if the attack was on St. Judes, I would be much more inclined to believe that it was perpetrated by the evil government. That type of attack would make much more sense to me in terms of a black op: minimum operation, maximum result.

That's a very good point indeed. The WTC list of victims is, for the most part, business people, adults.

So we can consider that demographic has a part in choice of targets, also.

As a terrorist, would you prefer your attack to be filmed or not?

Tourist attractions like the WTC are more likely to be filmed than other buildings, but less likely than say, the public spectacles of things like concerts, or the previously mentioned superbowl etc. (If you consider the price of advertising during the superbowl just think of the amount of publicity you would get by hitting the game itself with a plane)
