Or, right click on the grey area. You should be able to customize it. I haven't used Windows in 3 months.

I hate IE7, in fact, I hate all microsoft products, theyre all badly coded... so I don't use them. However I was in tech support for 3.5 years of my life so I may be able to help.

On the toolbars, when you right click you should have an option to go to the classic view of IE7... don't worry, you can go back again when youre done, if you don't like the old layout.

Once youre there, you will now see File Edit View etc, like you would in the older Internet Explorer programs.
Go to View > Toolbars... from there you should see a checkmark next to Snagit... uncheck it.
If you dont see it there, you probably have a registry problem for IE. That would be something I never tell someone how to edit, unless I'm doing it myself with them there to watch.

Once it's unchecked, go back to view, and you can then go back to the 'newer' view... if thats what you like.

Personally I think the new look of Internet Explorer is utterly useless.

Good luck.

Apparently you have installed SnagIt, and that is why you have that button on the IE toolbar.

See if in SnagIt you can alter that setting or if it was only during install that you could prevent it from installing that button on IE's toolbar.
