Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden will issue the next of his video messages after a massive attack on US territory, Saudi weekly Al-Majallah quotes an official of the terror network as saying, in its next edition.

Quoting an e-mail received from a man who goes by the name of Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj, the weekly reports that "an emissary of bin Laden has informed me that the al-Qaeda chief's (next) appearance (on video cassette) will come after a deadly, far-reaching operation on American territory.

"In the video, bin Laden will evoke the success of his backers in once again striking the United States to the core and America's failure (in its anti-terrorist campaign) both outside and inside the country," the al-Qaeda official was reported as saying in the e-mail.

WND, is reporting that the FBI is warning of Chem/Bio attacks. Well, this would correlate with Bin Ladens message if it were to happen. WND is not thee "greatest" source for news, but they generally are fairly reliable.

Well, it looks like he might not be able to release those tapes now. Nothing's happened yet, we've stopped many a possibility, and the air is full of jets. We saw an F-14 fly over our house earlier today. (That was really cool, by the way!)

god speed with ya, hope all is safe and well there....but, having heard so much of the madman(bon-boy), he wouldn't place himself such an ultimatum if he wasnt "dared" by other members to do so, and therefore...this man has his pride to superimpose over his personal safety...so umm, you know when he said he'd put an end to himself for his beliefs in his next attack?
through counter-inteligence im sure you'll be able to neutralize the "troublemakers" of this world, or so your gvrnmnt likes to think

well, i guess we have 5 days left to find out ai?

Seems that the 'entity' known as Daleel_almojahid made another message today: (NOTE: you will need to highlight the first links thread to read it)
Link:
groups.yahoo.com...
groups.yahoo.com...

Excerpt:
"Date: Thu Dec 25, 2003 6:52 pm
Subject: An Urgent and important letter to the american people..READ THIS WELL!!

The Nuclear suit cases of sheikh Osama bin laden

In the seventies Russian scientists were ordered to produce and
manufacture small nuclear bombs the size of suit cases by the (KGB) to
destroy the enemy's major targets in the war, like electricity
facilities and bridges, and so on.

These small tactical nuclear suit cases have a destruction power of
about 1000 tones worth of TNT, and that's about 10% of a conventional
nuclear bomb like the ones that America dropped on the cities of
Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

So if Al-Qaida was able to smuggle these suit cases into the United
States this means that its possible to destroy the Congress entirely
and everything as close as half a mile from it, and would eventually
spread out nuclear dust in all the region of Washington!.

These nuclear suit cases have the capability to kill up to 100,000
people from the nuclear dust it spreads, and the affected area will be
a ghost town for a long time to come.

These nuclear suit cases weigh from 30kg to 45 kg per suit case, it's
possible for any one to carry it on his back, and it just needs one
person to blow it up.

There is also another kind of nuclear suit cases that are made up of
only nuclear radiation waste, these kind of bombs just need normal
explosives to spread out the radiation that will eventually destroy
life in a wide area...... "
(the message continues on)

I was wondering about those yesterday when CNN had this story with this comment in it!
Los Angeles area in the past few days as part of a "massive investigative effort" -- with a real sense, the source said, of "trying to beat a ticking clock."

Seeker, this si the same guy that northeast intelligence quotes all the time is it not? He has been on several Jihadist sites from what I can remember unless I have the wrong name. Seems to me his messages are to amateurish to be taken seriously. But if this guy is serious then his messages coincide with what we are hearing from various other media outlets.

DD, thats not a very good way to put the quote unless the "source" was trying to send a message out without being to blatant. Either way, its not good for governmental sources to be using that kind of lingo.

Agreed Dreamz....I merely mentioned what I did because I found it a bit ironic that this 'entity' has made another announcement in respect to what has been transpiring the last few days and also the mere fact that the last time this 'entity' gave a message was after the last supposed Al-Qaeda message.

I have already mentioned in a previous thread that I felt that this 'entity' was not credible but in such, the 'entity' has timed his/her messages as roughly the same timing/time as Al-Qaeda gives theres.........

Common Im not a fricken reporter Dreamz I just see things in articles that stick out. That comment made me think of suitcases with nukes..

I would think someone working through a Yahoo newsgroup could easily have his IP tracked. Im not computer genius, but as long as long as I have been seeing his name, you wouldve thought someone wouldve got to him by now. If for nothing more than to question him.

If the wannabe terrorist who does the Yahoo posts is in a different cyber cafe everynight OR in Iran, Libya, Sudan, Pakistan, Syria or any of the other unfriendlies his IP would be moot.

Nobody would questioin him because he either can't be found or those around him fully support his views...

Interesting stuff though...

I stated on a different thread that it is my belief we foiled their plans again. I don't think they'll catch us with our pants down again...

PEACE...

Springer thats quite possible, but wouldnt the FBI tell Yahoo to shut the site down. Many sites including NAMBLAS have been shut down before, why wouldnt this be?

The problem Dreamz is that this 'entity' is operating from a university in the UAE.....
In such, yahoo could cancel one IP addy but all he/she would have to do is either relog with a new name or slight change and/with (from) a different IP addy.

William or others more versed at this would be better in answering this than I would though.

Here is a post explaining the situation a bit more:

"posted on 23-12-2003 at 12:56 AM Post Number: 301245 edit quote

Well...I kind of misread one of the articles I posted above.....not good. Here is what I missed:

"In response to a question asking for some proof of his claims, Almojahid (who wrote many of his Nov. comments using the computer system at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates) responded by e- mail that he was unable to give any information about the exact level of his involvement with the al Qaeda."

"Purported al Qaeda Operative Threatens Afghanistan"

So, in a sense, the 'entity's' location has been ascertained. My apologies for my over-sight."

I understand what you mean Seek. I use my schools web service and from what I understand the IP is always changing and if they cancelled the schools internet, teh school would just go elsewere. Im assuming I am correct, which usually means I am not.

I would think it a more valuable situation that he be allowed to rant in the event there is a hint of truth to what he says. ANY information is better than zero information IMHO...
