France has been particularly wary of the US and our terrorism claims. They haven't been big supporters and yet they went along with the flight cancellations on the advice of the US the other day. Today, they're (the AP) saying that the French have investigated but found no credibility regarding the 7 suspects in question. I was discussing this with a friend last night and they said perhaps with all the negotiations to get Anthrax vaccine or the world's interest in securing Iraqi rebuilding contracts, that France had a vested interest in going along with a "hoaxed threat"...who knows? Also, Air France cancelled three flights into the US, 2 direct to LA and 1 with a connection in Cincinnati and then on to LA. Were these the only flights into LA on Air France? I ask because if there were anymore, you'd think they would have cancelled all flights to LA. Also, we were supposedly concerned about 3 flights, but all person's of interest (according to AP) were on flight 68. If we knew the 7 people we suspected, and they were all on the same flight, why did they ground the other two? Any thoughts?
