Just a note about Realtors. Realtors can only disclose what they know.

Here in California, they use a transfer disclosure form that is filled out by the home owners. If the home owner is lying, how would a Realtor know?

The answer is that they wouldn't.

If you've got an old house and someone died 75 years ago, neither the current Realtor or the home owner would know that so it wouldn't be disclosed.

1. I don't trust cops either, but in Australia (where I live), it's illegal for them to lie to you.

2. Have you met him? I haven't but I doubt you have either, so neither of us can pass judgment on him really. But why would he want to defame George and his family?

Mad I'm sorry if you think this thread has been sidetracked but I suggest you really look into the Amityville case (It may open your eyes)But let me assure you what went on there in the 70's was real (at least to those who experienced it.

While I was not one of those I can't give it you first hand but if you wish to discuss it more u2u me or start a new thread becoz your original thread was a good one and is getting sidetracked.
