I also got The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (all 5 parts in one book), some money and a bottle of really good (and expensive) red wine.

Niiice. I've gotten something like a 10-15 fps improvement in every game compared to my old GF4 Ti4200. And those Smartshader additions are very cool, playing Call of Duty with ASCII graphics is quite an experience .

WHAT a game! Hell it's MORE than a game it's new EXPERIENCE!

PC Gaming has come very FAR with the launch of this game. I played it last month (I had the flu and had to stay home so I wouldn't get my employees sick) and it absolutely blew me away.

You DO need an awesome machine to run it but it's worth upgrading if you can to play it.

I have a GeForceFX5950 Ultra Vid Card that ran it perfectly at maxed out graphics....

I got a really cool mouse mat that looks and feels like its made of strawberry jelly. its got a really comfey wrist rest so I can browse ATS in real comfort now.
I also got a new game called Dungeon Siege which I am going to play very shortly. Looks like a neverwinter nights style game so I should soon get addicted to it.

And the biggest thing I got was a Casio Exilim digital camera.

It's one of those super tiny ones. Works surprisingly well too! The only problem is that it's very difficult to use the little control button to manipulate the menu.

Well you guys get all the cool books and I got a BOOKSHELF.
Its actually quite nice, mohagany mission style about 5 feet tall. I also got alot of old classic hardcovered novels since I recently started collecting them. A few clothes and some cologne, but that means nothing compared to the face my daughter had when she opened her presents.

A really nice dagger,
A dragon key rack,
A dragon post-it note holder for my desk,
2 nice outfits (shirt, pants, ties)
4 place settings of the china we picked out (joint to me and my wife to be)
Some good DVDs
A PS2 007 game
Some great board games (something I like to do with friends, such as LOTR Risk, and LOTR Monopoly)
A few other goodies....

2003 Saturn Vue with 5K miles on it...a wooden train set to play with my 2 year old daughter...and UNDERWEAR!!!

1.aplane ticket to U.K (from my parents)
2.and my g/f coming to U.K with

my parents decided it's only the good boys who get presents for x-mas..naturally.
therefore,
i took the liberty of buying some presents anyway

hugo boss dark blue, biggest bottle they had

a versache jacket with a matching pair of cargo pants, half-grey half black.

and, a new collar for cookie (pitbull, she's 3 yrs today)



will be trying to find a 64 or 256mb graphics card that can be connected via USB 2.0 to this laptop, IDE conversions to USB already exist..so with some luck, i can get this done
