It started out as a tornado crashing through my neighborhood and my house was still standing. My neighbors who were a family with kids were laying down on their destroyed house. I offered them to come and stay with me because I wanted to help and have company, but I get no answer. While I was saying this it was pitch black and I could see the faces of two aliens in the woods and black all around them. They weren't very far away and were terrifying. I did not want to look at them but I kept looking. I turned and asked the family again but instead I saw another face of an alien. The family was actually an alien that was shaped-shift. I was all alone in the slient destroyed town. I ran over to the alien and asked for friendly relations. It bit me and then in a freaky voice said "I WILL NEVER HAVE FRIENDLY RELATIONS WITH YOU!" Then I found myself in the air and unable to move while more aliens appeared and they hideously tortured me. I had in my mind that this isn't real because aliens aren't real and it took me about five seconds to say in my head "god get me out of this" and then I instantly woke up in a way like I was being pulled up because my body went forward. So this gives me reason because I asked god for help and I instantly woke up. Then I was in my bedroom and kept thinking about it and then I prayed to make think of something else and I did.

wildcat, powerful story. It is never too late to believe in God; I am an example: God completely reached me at age 29.

Sometimes it takes a dramatic and powerful event to find faith.

God Bless You!!!

Thanks god bless you too

I always believed in god but recently it faded. But the this event and other things that had happened to me before that I remember brought my faith back to where it was.

The other things were prayers that had came true. God only answers prayers that are moral and what you truely need. Truely need as in spiritual stuff. I only pray with those things in mind and because of that, they come true.

So you think god helped you wake up from a bad dream, the dream may not have been nice but it was just a harmless dream, what about the people who suffer and die in real pain who ask for gods help but get left there to die, if it does exist it must be playing some kind of sick joke imo.

Also what you describe :

I instantly woke up in a way like I was being pulled up because my body went forward.
This is common is almost all nightmares, its also extremely common to at some point in the nightmare desperately want to wake up and then seemingly instantly do so, and its also quite common to think of something else shortly after a nightmare.

Not to say you shouldn't believe in god by all means if you want to do so it may after all exist but don't blindly believe in something just because of one fairly insignificant (in terms of how nightmares usually work) nightmare, explore it for a while, question things and most importantly look at what other people believe, only when you understand others beliefs can you fully understand your own beliefs.

No actually I wasn't sleeping head up. So I turned a bit. And when I was woke up, it felt like I was speeding forward. And I could see my bedroom getting bigger with something like this around it.

I worded a bit wrong when I said "god only answers what you need." But what I meant was he won't interfere with the real world (right now) but he can help with internal problems that are irrelevant to reality. Not saying that he only helps with those.
