Posted this here, 2nd thread, after was told to do so in the UFO forum.

That is the original, unedited image.

I took it a while back just of sky, because i was bored. The object in the bottom right of the photo showed up after it was taken, i just discovered it now when doing a project for my multimedia course

Here is some zooms:

It looks to me to have a typical saucer shape. I'd love for Jritzmann (spelling?) or any of the other analysts to have a look at these for me and see if they can work out if they are just dust or something more.

Thanks. What are your thoughts?

Hey Foof-
By chance do you recall the temperature that day?

Thanks for replying mate, it was pretty much talked off as a bird on the UFO forum thread, but i still wasn't so sure.

It was hot, about 27 or 28 celcius... so putting it somewhere around 80 or 90 Fahrenheit I'm guessing. It was an Australian summer, so the lowest temp we get here then is about 27 celcius.

I'm no expert but isn't it a little high to be a bird?

Just an untrained observation.

Thats what i thought too, and i didn't see any flying objects of any kind when i took the image, however i may have missed it considering how hard it was to spot it in the image in the first place.

I do have a pretty good feeling it's a bird as well. The black smear directly above the UO seems to be a moving wing. And yes, the alt. seems extreme, but there are buzzards and such that do climb to pretty big heights to scan for food or carcasses.

I'll have a more in depth look in the next couple of days. Right now I'm a bit tied up on projects and I have to guest host the Paracast tonight on Russian UFOs, but I promise I'll getcha a good look within a couple days.

Thanks mate, and just for the record, we don't have buzzards here

Hawks, however, are fairly common on this side of the country.
