As a fantasy destination, I would choose Tanelorn as depicted by Michael Moorcock.

For a sci fi fix, I would also choose The Culture.

Discworld for me...but I would have to have Wolverines powers (knuckle knives and all) and work for the city watch ( maybe one day the Enterprise crew beams in for a visit and...i might be getting carried away here, but hey fantasy is what it is)
