Hey everyone...

Michael Moore has an interesting feature on his website...He is posting letters he has received from soldiers overseas fighting in Iraq. It's pretty interesting to read their thoughts....

You know, his documentary was checked over by a team of impartial lawyers and they found NO inconsistencies or lies in it.

Do you honestly think they'd let him release a movie like that if every fact wasn't correct?

Since its release, there have been ZERO law suits against him or the studio's, so shut the hell up.

Anything that casts bush or the nra in a negative light is fake...Didn't you know that?

Grow up and open your eyes. He addresses all of that BS you're spreading on his site also...He deserved that oscar. He made an incredibly powerful documentary that everyone should see. Besides I didn't make this post about the movie. I made this post so you can all read the letters he is receiving from soldiers fighting in Iraq. So read them and learn something.

Americans vote Republican, contrary to their own self-interest, writes Moore, because wealthy capitalist oil men have hypnotized them with an illegitimate war in Iraq, fear of terrorists, and a few crumbs from a tax cut (given mostly to the wealthy) that feeds the American Horatio Alger myth that we all can succeed.

"Horatio Alger Must Die," writes Moore. Americans should stop trying to become rich. Instead they should desert the War on Terror and enlist in the Class War. Our best chance for a halfway pleasant life, he argues, is to tax all wealth away from the rich and redistribute it to ourselves in the form of welfare, government healthcare and other benefits.

"You are never going to be rich" like Horatio Alger, writes Moore. "The chance of that happening is about one in a million." (This means that in our nation of 293 million people, we have only 293 millionaires.�when in fact we have literally millions of citizens with a net worth in excess of a million dollars � and would have millions more if government greed and excessive taxation could be ended�but is it fair to apply logic to an utterly irrational hyper-Leftist ideologue like Moore?)

The problem with this pudgy messenger born 49 years ago into a working class family in Flint, Michigan, is that Michael Moore IS that one in a million who, in the jargon of Leftspeak, "won life�s lottery."......

But Michael Moore is very secretive about his own private life and how many dollars he makes. The amount of his income might be embarrassing to this foe of capitalism. Somebody might ask how this self-proclaimed champion of the proletariat justifies keeping, after taxes, millions and millions of dollars for himself instead of giving it all to the poor. Or some fellow socialist might ask why Moore takes this tax cut at all instead of telling the big government he loves so much to keep the money, government being so much better at spending our money than we are.

"Michael Moore would never withstand the scrutiny he lays on other people," says his former manager Douglas Urbanski. "You would think that he�s the ultimate common man. But he�s money-obsessed."...."

.....isn't Micheal Moore the one who directed that documentary "Bowling for Columnbine"? If so, I enjoyed that flick and wouldn't mind watching it again.....and why would he be a fallower of Karl Marx? Communist?

Refuse to read or watch his works...not worth my time.

The point is not that his movie was not factual. It was factual.

The point is that is was hand picked to be disterbingly deceptive.

It misrepresents the truth to support his point of view. He at one point wanted to run for head of the NRA against Heston. He should have if we wanted to make a real difference instead of the people out there serving to make a difference, he chose to bitch to try to make a difference.

Just one instance. The bank scene. While not factually inaccurate. It makes the impression that it is a quick 2 to 3 minute ordeal with little cost (although it was a 1000- to 5000 dollar purchase of a CD).

Also did not show the FBI backgroud check with photo ID.

The minimum of 30 mins in the bank itself to provide ample video coverage.

It is propaganda. It is slickly done and loosely factual.

Those lawyers could not technically call him on anything. Editing is not a crime, but it is misleading.

You read and hear propaganda all the time. Everytime you read a magazine add, or a comercial, or a billboard. It is all propaganda, and whenever some of it is toward educating the population, it gets negative attention from some people.

I thought the movie "Bowling for Columbine" was very good.

Yeah Yoda? What if it did have a reply from me in it? I'm alot more qualified to talk about soldiers over here in Iraq then anyone else. People just don't like hearing that for the most part soldiers are "for" being here. Regardless of what micheal moore thinks, or puts up on his website. The guy is decidedly anit-american to a par. And no I'm not bias and no i don't call everyone "anti-american" but here you have a guy who regularly busts on the constitution. You figure it out.

Here is the system some poeple, namely Moore, have adopted

1) Show people misguilded information to get them on your side or make them feel bad about the "victims"

2) Make the opposition look demonic, or at the least very bad

3) Fill them with Statistics that are out of context.

4) Send them on their way to promote bull #

If he was interested in education, he would have shown a less edited version.

But the bank scene alone was 90 mins of film. He can't make a point without making a 90 min process look like a 90 sec. one.
