Are there Secret Police lurking around watching our every move? why would they be watching us, what are we doing wrong for them to be watching us in the first place?

I'm convinced they are not watching terrorist, I don't see too many terrorist doing things here in the US, so why would they be watching the population? It's pretty irratating if you ask me.
