A UK based poster here (yes, it is late at night!). I'm a politics student with some experience of terrorism and security studies. Though I'm hardly an expert in that area, I know several people who are and...well, I hear lots of interesting things from them. Often out of line with official policy, either here or in the USA.

Which pretty much explains why I am here. My main interest is obviously going to be political conspiracies, think tanks and corporate influence on government, that sort of thing. I like to think I'm sceptical, I like evidence to draw my conclusions from, or at least a load of odd 'coincidences' before committing myself either way. I tend not to be a fan of the more "grandiose" theories that exist, except purely for entertainment reasons, but apart from that I'm not too bad a bloke.

Anyway, looking forward to contributing more here. I've been lurking a while, so I think I have a feel for how this place works now.
