Is Santa really Satan??
If I say yes does that mean Satan is a "Symbolic Icon" for a "Concept/Idea" that has been created by man and not a REAL Entity but more like a philisophical metaphore?

After all we know Santa isn't REAL but the Idea/Concept/Belief of Santa is Real for those who choose to do so. When the Idea or Belief in Santa is Gone, Santa is gone as well. However the meaning that was Represented by the "Symbolic Icon" remains the same, it's only undefined by people is all.

Interesting and Important things can happen when one begins to realize what is "Real" vs. "Concept" and the Power & Limitations inherent within each one. Take money for example. The Monetary Notes are "Real" and with them one can Build, Destroy and Control just about anything because of "Concept" they represent. The "Symbol" itself is a real thing but is useless, while the "Consept" behind it is very "Powerfull" and yet not even real at all, only an idea.

So is Santa really Satan then? It's up to each of us to decide what we want our Symbols to Represent. The Idea is to Choose Wisely when defining Reality.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hannaukah, HO HO HO, Happy Solstice, Bah Humbug, and so on......Whatever it is you people believe.....mOjOm hopes you all enjoy yourselves, you lovedones and everyone else a well as this time of the season we all share!!

Instead of perpetuating outdated and confusing holiday myths, it might be more fulfilling to return to the original source of these seasonal celebrations. How about getting back to basics and enjoying some magical mushrooms with your loved ones this solstice? What better gift can a family share than a little piece of love and enlightenment?

now, THAT'S a holiday!

Santa is the image of the Antichrist.

Observe the following picture of St.Germain. Many mystics and 'prophets' have claimed to been visited by this being.

The next picture is of Kuthumi. The one Madame Blavatsky spoke with.

This next photo is of the young Bahaullah - also the Name of the Beast (baha)
A beautiful blue eyed Persian. He has the eyes and upward mustache of St.Germain but he also looks like Kuthumi.

This is Bahaullah when he got old. He was born 1844 and he died of a cold. This was prophesied. He would die 'without hands' unlike our Lord who died at the hands of his enemies. This is one of the ways we could differentiate between the righteousness of Christ and the Antichrist. Jesus was man enough to take a beating from his enemies, Satan caught the common cold and croaked.

This is vintage Santa. The earliest depiction of Santa was drawn in 1862, right around the time the Bahai faith emerged. Coincidence? Never.

I know it's late but I don't get how "Santa is taking away from the true reason for the holiday" is truly real anyway.

If Santa doesn't represent Christmas then neither does Jesus.

Santa is a fictional character based on an actual person who gave gifts to children.

Jesus is a fictional character based on the writings of an earlier faith of a person born to a virginal mother who was said to be the son of the god that religion worshipped and later killed for his beliefs.

Christians just hijacked a traditional Pagan festival and claimed that December 25th was the day Jesus was born when in all likelihood, investigations of the records of those days say the trips to their town of birth as described in the Bible actually happened in August with a lot of other inconsistencies between fact and what the Bible and nativity stories tell us.

Have you even considered the effects of such wild accusations, like the one you just leveled at Scanta Claus ?
I mean WTF? This has got to be a new ATS low. This is a travesty. Is nothing sacred ? Where is your evidence? Or are these just the unfounded ramblings of some ole scrooge ? This I think could be all it takes , for a world that is already teetering on the edge of oblivion, to finally relent to the overwelming gravitational pull of such perposterus notions as this.
What's next?

I see nothing wrong with maintaining a little fantasy and magic in a child's life...perfectly harmless, especially if the child is taught the backstory of Santa Claus....

I agree.

My kids grew up on fairytales, and Santa featured heavily too.

Now they are a little older and are hearing "another side to the story", they just think it is funny and that they were part of magical activities during their childhood.

As i say to them, there are some out there still believe, so who am i to argue?

The anti-christ? I am going to have to go with no......apart from the year he gave me Old Spice aftershave when i was 11!!! What on earth was he thinking? I swear that year there was a pensioner in a rest home somewhere trying to make sense of an action man with eagle eyes and gripping hands.

I think that Santa Claus is the Anti-Christ as neither exists. My children when they were young celebrated X-Mas, and I have since grew out of that and decided that I would take the more truthful route in discussing it with my youngest. I have seen families and parents go through heart break when they were unable to provide the gifts that their kids asked Santa for, and never wanted that for my daughter.

When I think of someone wanting to tell their children that Santa isn't real, I dont think that their cruel, or dont want the best for their kids, but I would like my children to be aware that gifts come from the heart, and from people that care about you, not that someone sneaks into our house at night, takes some cookies, and leaves.

I want them to know that I love them, and that I provide for them, and sometimes there is and sometimes there isn't, the holidays are for sharing and giving, not running people over in a mall so that your kid can think that Santa and his elves made the trip. Just my opinion.

Peace, NRE.

I think Santa is a satanic attemt to create some kind of antichrist, and this one is attacking the children and intervene in their upbringing.
