Nostradamus is bs.

I have read up on all about Nostradamus and I followed every clue in the world regarding the crazy translations of his predictions and how they claim that they are to be true, but they are completely ridiculous. I cannot begin to fathom how many lame thoughts people were thinking when they actually translated this. They believe that these can be found on coordinates on his books and that you can translate the predictions into words and images. There are a few fatal flaws with his logic.

For one, they say he talks of the death of a governor inciting mass violence, and that this year is supposed to be the year all of Europe is nuked. I did not see a flaw in his predictions, I thought originally that they may be a few years off, but after I saw like what they said on the site of www.nostradamusonline.com I saw that as total BS. I don't see any of that as true. There was a few disasters, there was a hurricane in New Orleans and tornadoes touched down in Florida I think-- but no "three great nations" sent aid to us.

The U.S went bankrupt-- and I am sure that this was a fine prediction, but this was probably written up by someone who was obsessed with making false lies to stir controversy.

There will be no third anti-christ. There will be no king that will take over the world before your "anti-christ" comes and then takes it over to be all of his or her own. There will be no one smart enough to make treaties and break them. The only person who matches the description of your "anti-christ" according to www.nostradamusonline.com, is the President of Iran.

How people make some stupid decisions? I have no idea.

I have some predictions as well that I can share.

- Prince Harry will die in Iraq, and it will be reported all over television and BBC news sometime this June or later on this year.
- The terrorists will mount a fierce retaliation.
- No shadow government will come into power, no north American Union or New world Order will yet to be formed yet.
- We will have diplomatic talks with Iran, Syria, and Russia in the next two to three weeks about Iraq and Russia selling Iran nuclear warheads.
- Soldiers will continue to get untreated at walter rheed (SP?)
- Borack Obama wins 08, restores political order between the Republicans and the Democrats
- George W Bush will end up being the lame duck
- Hillary Clinton will lose due to some expert campaign adds shown by Borak Obama
- The Republicans will lose their votes, leaving more voters voting for the Democrats, they will vote for the Dems because they want change.
- We will pull out of Iraq within next year and we will redeploy our army to Afghanistan.
- There will never be a draft again.
- More tower 7 conspiracy theories.
- More propaganda about North Korea will be in the news nearly every day within the next two weeks.
- China will continue making the world market slide to make our economy collapse.

there have been many anti christs. more than just hitler and whoever else. nostradamus was a great thinker, he was just pondering the great possibilities of cause and effect. I havent seen any of his predictions really mindblowing. Now what does blow my mind is the bible codes. That is freaky. But with the bible codes, you are not sopposed to look into the future, but read about what just happened.

yeah the bible codes are really weird. I don't see how they work though or how they are able to predict the future but I do know that I have been told that they are fake and they are only letters and numbers. I also have heard that they are only made up to get more people to believe in the religion. Aren't they numbers that people claim are on the back of the bible? I doubt that they're real.

As far as the antichrists, there may have been more then one (hitler), but I personally see the anti-christ as being nothing more then a mere being and not one to be worshipped. No one will step up in this day and age and take over the entire world and make treaties with all nations then break them. First of all, that would take too much work. Secondly-- no one is smart enough to do that. That's what I think.

OMG, ha ha, these predictions turned out to be true after all.

Al-quaeada has threatened to target Prince Harry in Iraq, they haven't threatened to kill him yet.

Given the attacks in recent months, yes, they have installed new terrorists training camps.

This is good, that they haven't done such a thing yet.

We did, they released the hostages, and they didn't attack our country, and Britain has been saved from attacks.

Walter Reed was in the paper for lots of last month and the head guy there was fired, so I was correct.

- Borack Obama wins 08, restores political order between the Republicans and the Democrats
They seem to be united, and the American people seem to listen to Barack Obama.

- George W Bush will end up being the lame duck
With all of the anti-Iraq war legislation in place, yes he is becoming one.

- Hillary Clinton will lose due to some expert campaign adds shown by Borak Obama

Yup, yup, Bush's percentage is at an all time low, and I think that they want change.

- We will pull out of Iraq within next year and we will redeploy our army to Afghanistan.
I couldn't say it better. They want to override the veto in any way they can and they cut off funding to the Iraq war.


- There will never be a draft again.
the Iran situation was resolved, and it was a set up.

- More tower 7 conspiracy theories.

There was some talk about north Korea last month, and they haven't figured out how to deal with them yet. But the country agreed to six party talks with China and it has seemed to be working so far.

Yup, the Dow lost 100 points one day, I think. If i am not mistaken."

The first one I believe to be correct, only the timeline is longer, 2 years to pull out of Iraq, and many troops wil go back to Afghanistan dirrectly from Iraq.

The second one leads into what I see coming 10 to 15 years down the road which is a war with china/north korea/Russia...

All were interesting predictions, how did you come up with them?


To answer your first question, Nostridamus in my opinion was a visionary, and real or not, his work lives on. I think he was on to something personally.

Nosty is only the steno, for heavenly forces. The 'Serpent in the Sky' wormholes exist, and he learned how to tap into them, but only as an observer. Thanx, Carpooler.

I think he did predict 911.

I know everyone will say it was a hoax but not that one. Only one of his prophecies gave a date. 7th month of 99. Back in his day september was the 7th month, so add 2 to the 7 then 2 to the 99 and you get 9th month of 2001.

The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror.
To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars to reign by good luck.

So a small not entirely baseless change in the date fixes the first line.
2nd line is pretty obvious.
3rd line? Maybe talking about giving Bush back power and respect after all the doubts in his election.
4th line. Well we're still fighting and only looking for more places to fight.

I'm not really sure about him, but at the very least it's interesting reading. Maybe he just wanted to be remembered which he achieved quite well.

The second part has two possible ways to be understand:

One , from the depth of the underground of Anatolia(Asia minor), will

it would be of supernatural origin )

or

Some powerful person will develop it by artificial means ( an earthquake produced by an atomic explosion in the underground), and that individual is located in the depth of Asia , in other words central Asia like for instance Afghanistan, who do you think could be? ),

This seismic event will affect so much directly the city of Ephesus,
in that coast, and indirectly the city of Corynth to the other side
of the Egeus Sea, a tsunami.

Nostradamus' writings are just like the Bible.
Vague enough to read just about anything into them that you want.

If Nost. was a true prophet, and so many people interpret his writings,
why do they not stop, or at least warn about, these great tragedies
before they happen?

for the 1500s AD he was pretty darned topical and relevent to the society he was in. A veritable News Anchor/Discovery Journalist...breaking new ground as it were & providing topical commentary of just what one should
expect..
be it days, months, years, decades, centuries, even milleniums later.


Nostradamus' scrying was not supposed to be 100%, verbatum, events...

M. Nostradamus understood that future events were conditional and vaporous things...not solid or factual or set in stone absolutes...


His readings were meant as 'sign-posts' so the contemporary seers would have a 'point' to work from...to add on to the base info he presented


for example....way before most of youse were born, i myself knew about Nostradamus & his quatrains...
Especially His verse about a 'blue' or 'white' Turban man, which was the launch pad for insights that led me to tell others that a religious man named 'Landis', who was an Arab, but lived in the areas of Pakistan/India/Bangladesh...
would be falsely accused of the event we today call 9-11...
extreme hijackings that ended in deliberate crashes (completely contrary to normal hijackings of the times)
and martyrdom of the hijackers & commandeers of the jet planes...into 3 targeted sites (which the Phoenix FBI was informed/alerted of ~some 26 years later~ in 1995)



the bottom line is.....his quatrains were intended a time markers for events
that could happen in haphazard ways or circumstances, when a combination of opportunity 'windows' aligned for any particular prognosticated event to be able to occur.
But it was left for that contemporary times seers to fill in the gaps
and raise the warning flag, & to further xplain & expond on the soon to be event.




perhaps the 'BS' label should be interpeted as 'Believe it, Sucker'

Well these two questions are interesting, let try to answer both:
1) about how vague are his predictions, we must understand to judge them that this is a personage that affronted a lot of prosecution against him especially by the inquisition. That was the reason for which He could continue predicting only by encrypting his quatrains by using a code to cipher them. In every time there is always people that reject prophecies and try to destroy the people that did them for the simple reason that predictions that are given by secular persons are dangerous to maintain the status quo in favor of the dominant countries or social classes. The situation of Nostradamus was even worst since he was a convert son of Jews and besides that he learnt the art of prophecy by reading forbidden books of Islamic authors, in his time that was enough reason not only to be prosecuted but to be executed.
The situation is not very different at our time but thanks to the Internet we the psychics of the XXI century have the advantage to be able to publish predictions uncovered by secret identities as here.
2) To be able to prevent the facts based on the content of Nostradamus Prophecies is a little difficult since precisely the evil forces are all the time discrediting any spiritual belief, and this includes prophecies. So the way in which those powers suppress the possibility to be detected on time is by telling that the Prophets are all impostors, that are liars and that they are only trying to promote the collective anxiety or panic. The only time in which the dark side was using Nostradamus but not attacking him was probably during the rising of the III Reich because they wanted to justify their regime on the base of the idea that was impossible to stop because it was already predicted. Of course the Nazi Propaganda director Goebbels knew the Prediction about the Germanic Leader Hister or Hisler that was announced by Nostradamus to be the conqueror of Europe and he used it to justify Hitler due to the similarity in the name but also because Hisler means Danube and the Furer was born in Vienna, a city located on that river.

I agree, he is bs... every single one of his quatrains is a decent poem but nothing more, I think he was an agent of the devil though, maybe unknowingly, but he supposedly practiced divination, which is against the bible, even though he claimed to be christian, every inturpretation of his quatrains I've ever seen or read about has been made by a nostradamus 'expert' that twisted nostradamus' words so much that his words no longer exist at the end of their translation, I once picked up a book on his quatrains and randomly flipped to a quatrain while Arnold Schwarzenegger was about to become gov of california, and at the time Mars was closer to the earth than it had been in 40,000 years, and the quatrain said, something to the effect of a famous person will become a leader of the state when mars is close, basically you can see what you want to see in what he wrote, they are so generic, his words are like seeing animals in the clouds, perhaps he did see his own death and his own fame using the divination though.
