This site and article contain more than just information in regards to prescription deaths, it also contains death stats in regards to almost all medical errors. All info is backed by credible sources and not a bunch of made up BS.

I do not trust the medical system at all they have become a corrupt entity IMO.

Thoughts anyone?

Prescription Death Information and More

Prescription Drugs - Leading Killer in USA

According to information we have received, a statistical study of hospital deaths in the U.S. conducted at the University of Toronto revealed that pharmaceutical drugs kill more people every year than are killed in traffic accidents.

The study is said to show that more than two million American hospitalized patients suffered a serious adverse drug reaction (ADR) within the 12-month period of the study and, of these, over 100,000 died as a result. The researchers found that over 75 per cent of these ADRs were dose-dependent, which suggests they were due to the inherent toxicity of the drugs rather than to allergic reactions.

The data did not include fatal reactions caused by accidental overdoses or errors in administration of the drugs. If these had been included, it is estimated that another 100,000 deaths would be added to the total every year.

that's why they are desperately trying to outlaw and destroy any alternatives

see www.abovetopsecret.com...

too bad people can be convinced on way or the other that it has to be that way, too strange and it doesn't bode well for our future.

Aww... come on guys. Dont you know the FDA would never let that happen.
Years of testing and trials by the government have been put in place by the government to ensure our safety by the government.

I just cant believe the government wouldnt do just whats in our best interest all of the time without ever falling to corruption regardless of how much money the government takes and takes to operate these programs like the FDA.

Maybe we just need to give them more money.
Yeah, thats it. More money has helped everything.

Gotta love'em. If you dont theyll medicate you or shoot you.

If there wasnt an FDA these companies would have a few deaths and the public wouldnt use any of their products anymore. Theyd be out of business. But because theres the FDA companies can kill whoever they want and the public will look at the government to take the next step. A couple of lawsuits, a new black label and the product is still on the shelves and people still use it. All the while the structure of the government allows these companies to make "donations" and buy off politicians. If it was completely private sector there wouldnt be any way to pay off and cover up "we just killed a dozen people with our drug."

Thanks FDA

Actually, if you read the links, many of these preventable deaths are from infection that wasn't treated properly, from bedsores, from blood clots after operations that weren't recognized and treated. They're for in-hospital care.

It's not for prescription medicine. (this is from the links you gave, RealTruth. I read the full text of the articles, not what the website said was in them.). Here's another link to an article on the same thing that goes into more details:
www.medicalnewstoday.com...

Here's some more things they didn't point out:
1/3 of those deaths are in Medicare patients, who often don't get to the hospital until things are seriously wrong (can't afford health care and don't have a regula doctor.) This is stated in the article but isn't mentioned on the website. Some of these were Alzheimers patients.

Deaths for cancer with conventional treatments are down.
www.cancer.org...

Survival rates are much higher now... 20 years ago, a diagnosis of breast cancer for a woman almost always ended in death. I have friends who have had it within the past 10 years who are still alive thanks to treatment, and I know others have this same sort of experience.

If you go back to a time before drugs and radiation therapies, you find cancer was almost always fatal. The had all sorts of other therapies (many that are promoted today)... and a very low survival rate.

There is plenty of evidence to support that cancer has always been cureable and some people have been aware of it for decades but the FDA and/or government suppresses this information because they want our money and they want to keep us sick so they can continue to make money.

Check out these articles at NewsTarget.com. And this website has TONS of articles that describe the ruthless activities of the FDA, USDA, AMA, etc. and information on how to cure illness and disease using food and herbs to eliminate disease naturally and without the use of dangerous drugs and chemicals.

The Abraham Cherrix cancer story the media won't print: Harry Hoxsey's cancer cures and the US government campaign to destroy them.

What would Americans think if they heard that traditional cancer treatments are not the only therapy, and that safe, effective cancer cures have been around for decades? Moreover, what would they think if they heard that trusted medical establishments charged with protecting the health of Americans -- such as the American Medical Association -- have waged a decades-long battle against such cancer cures in an attempt to keep them from the public?

Actually most articles on newstarget scream "FDA IS EVIL, HERBS CURE EVERYTHING, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SICKNESS.." etc etc and the list goes on.

Vitamin therapy and herbs and "potions" may help temporarily or alleviate minor medical conditions, sure, there's evidence for that. Most drugs today are and were derived from plant based sources. What I would like to see is some credible case studies on these cancer cures. I have yet to visit ONE webpage or a credible source with case studies and statistics on the success rates of these "magical cancer cures".

Byrd as usuall never ceases to impress me. Byrd: You are also right on in-hospital errors. I work in one of the top-10 ranking hospitals in the US and I still see medication errors and MD errors every single day. Its not intentional and its not necassarily a misdiagnosis. If one adds up the total # of people that have no adverse reactions that have been treated safely with the "evil FDA approved" meds with no known deaths..you'll see that the % of death due to wrong meds/dosage errors will be tiny. Thats to be expected. I would be a little shocked if anything had a 100% success rate. 100,000 is a nice big number but is trivial compared to a few million(if not more).

Yes... probably because it's true. I found that I was able to come off of antidepressant medication quickly with no adverse effects. I cut out as many processed foods as I could (the primary one being powdered coffee creamer) and increased my raw food intake. I feel better now than when I was on the antidepressants.

..but more probably not since there is no cold hard evidence. Atleast not on that site.

I'm actually very proud of you. Its difficult to do it on your own and it mustve taken a lot of courage to change a diet and stay off pills. I understand where you're coming from and frankly the field of anti-depressants still needs work. Thats my opinion. Its helped many, but it may not work for some. There are no guarantees.

Whether there is cold hard evidence or not... people use these alternative options and they seem to work as long as they do it right.

It wasn't difficult at all. Didn't take courage. Just plain common sense.
