Oh Yukk..
There's still loads of singers usng these for their backing tracks..
They buy in the disks with like.. one song on them..then they fiddle about on stage choosing the next one in their show..Tacky..

I'm trying to wean them off and get them to change to ipods or ANY usb device so that new tracks can be sent via email and dloaded to their player.. It would save them(and me) so much hassle..

I used to have a few of them(incl..SONY MDMX4 multitracker using minidisk data disks.)..

I still use them, and actually PREFER them to my ipod when going on long trips. Nothing beats just being able to slap a single AA battery into the back of the player instead of having to find a USB hub and outlet and then wait for up to three hours for the darn pos to charge.

Minidiscs rock.
