Put a Fraud ALert on your credit card. basically if anyone requests your credit history, tries to open a new account, etc. the agency is supposed to
call you. See:
www.fightidentitytheft.com...
Specifically, to call in and get it:
www.fightidentitytheft.com...
"On the plus side, a fraud alert won't cause any problems with using your credit card or checking accounts. It's focused on new credit accounts,
not the ones you already have opened."
Additionally they mail you a credit report. I do believe it's a free one because they don't ask for any charging information AND by law you will be
given one if you suspect credit fraud. Calling the credit fraud number is a good case of suspecting credit fraud
