pray to God that you're never called on for jury duty!
My bad, I should have never used the word PROVE. It was late, I was tired... etc. There will never be verifiable proof, because if there was, the US
government would look terrible in the eyes of the public. As for my sources, they are what they are... But the event happened. Was the CIA involved?
It's up to you.
I just think there's a lot of hypocracy among some of the ATS members (I said SOME, NOT ALL!). How is it that they are so willing to take the word
of corrupt governments and media sources when it supports their agenda/beliefs, but are quick to dismiss the word of US government officials and
NON-state-controlled media when it conflicts with their personal opinions? It's almost laughable when some people on here will use Rense.com or
Pravda as a source of facts, and then dismiss anything coming from cnn.com or the Washington Post.
You're only as strong as your sources, this is true. But who's got a source in the CIA who's on the ground in Iran? I don't. What we get is a
bunch of filtered BS and that is why it is important to ask questions. I ask you this, wouldn't the US benefit from an overthrow of the government in
Iran? Wouldn't they also like to do it without getting their hands dirty? Doesn't this play along with the toned down rhetoric in the past month
from sources such as CNN? If they were having success with groups like JUND ALLAH wouldn't they back off in the mainstream media to make it seem like
it was naturally occurring without the hand of the US? I say that it is a possibility, a probability, but proving this without a shadow of a doubt is
impossible. Notice, I have made no claims to my stance on the war. I'm just trying to communicate what might be happening. Is this not what ATS is
all about? Speculation and alternative viewpoints? The search for the truth? Sometimes these "mainstream" media outlets are just as bad, blindly
favoring our government!
Show me a story that definitively proves that we are not helping out JUND ALLAH in Iran. Oh wait, you can't? Then it's a possibility. If I were
writing for CNN we would have problems, but I'm not, so I'll continue to speculate at my leisure. Last I checked, you didn't need a journalism
degree to post on ATS.
