My sense of smell is beyond normal. I can smell someone's scent, at odd moments. Sometimes, there's no one else in a certain room and i'll smell a perfume, a fruit, but always a pleasant smell. I also feel things around me. But I DO get scared.

Hello there.

I have heard that there can be physiological reasons for your sense of smell to act up like this. Have you had a CAT scan or talked to your doctor? No need to post anonymously on this topic because it's an interesting question and I am sure people will have some helpful suggestions here.

An overly acute sense of smell is called hyperosmia. There is a lot of information about it on the internet.
