New boy from Englandland

First post. Would have joined sooner but I'm British, and we haven't been formally introduced, so I just sort of stood over there twiddling my monocle and toying with a dry Martini.

Also the floor-reflections on the menu images send my eye focus all screwy.

I hope to use my time on ATS to convince everyone that the Mayan Calendar proves that time travel is fact and that Dennis Ritchie was the first person to be projected back in time, to the year 3114 BCE where the following was overheard: "Here, I invented you a new calendar. Don't worry, Mayan dudes, 2012 is ages away, we'll all be long gone by then. Let me tell you about the year 2038..."

When not doing that I'll be working on my thesis: "Comic Sans, cyan background and the blink attribute: outing wingnuts since 1993"

Actually I might be joking. Bit of a recurring theme with me, I'm afraid. Don't be alarmed, I do serious too.
