Not much, I usually use the ESA site, and now I am "collecting" the photos from Mars posted in the HiRISE Operations Center.

Is there a reason why both the ESA and HiRise both have not updated pictures from mars since back in Nov. 2006? Does the time of the year have anything to do with it?

Thanks man.

I def. wanted to tap into the people that frequent this particular forum - lot more traffic here and I figured there would be some good resources to share and it might inspire some of the crew.

Anyways, I have a better consideration of the protocol now.

Here's a great video dicussing "The Hubble Deep Field: The Most Important Image Ever Taken" (1st image below w/ 10,000+ galaxies):

Cheers,

The ESA site is rarely updated, unfortunately.

The hiRise site is updated but apparently the updated area is not accesible from the main page, or at least I did not found it.

This page shows updates.

An undying beauty. Yes, www.space.com has a large and varied photo collection. What and where We are is an amalgam of awe, illusional mystery, and ataraxical ecstacy... awesome, the sum of all awe

That's a great way to put it.

Yes, these pictures leave me with my jaw dragging on the ground.

Makes me think of one of my favorite Psalms:

Ps 19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.

Ps 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.

Can't help but think of our Creator when I see stuff like this. Thank you Jesus.

No, it's just off topic.

But the thread it self is not about aliens and ufo's and the op of this thread is new to ats so i was just pointing out to him that the purpose of his thread was more suited for space and exploration forum.

I find the images from Spitzer to be better than the Hubble ones. You can see some of them here:
