Soon after sunset on Saturday evening, March 3, skywatchers in eastern North America can watch the rising full Moon undergoing its first total eclipse in nearly 2-½ years.

In Europe and Africa the eclipse takes place late at night high in a dark sky.

For North Americans, the farther east you are the better. The eclipse will already be in progress when the Sun sets and the Moon rises, two events that happen almost simultaneously on a lunar eclipse night.

Maybe some ufo will show up.

Great find!

Let us who live on the eastern side hope for clear skies and a bright sunset.

I'll be watching

Thanks

I read something a while back about Eclipses.

Sorry, but I don't recall the exact figures, but it was something like the sun is 400 times larger than the moon, and 400 times the distance, or whatever. Anyways they were exact figures. What is amazing, is they are different distances, and different sizes, yet it is "set up" perfectly, that we view the Sun and the Moon as exactly the same size from Earth, obvious by the eclipses, of one being able to completely cover the other. There was some more added to this, but I forgot what it was.

I will also be watching and I will probably have a good seat from right where I am now.

I can only hope that they are not out there making the chemtrails to cover this.

Will I be able to see this here in Australia or will it be day time over here?

Great Post, I love this kind of stuff! Do you know we will have almost 3 total eclipse within a year on March 3, 2007, August 28, 2007 & February 21, 2008?
