The McIlhenny Co of the famous Tabasco brand, from Avery Island, LA has introduced a new Habanero sauce and another one that I haven't tried yet and I can't even remember the name, but Ill get back to you.

Anyway the new Habanero sauce is somekind of spicy stuff.

I find that on scrambled egg this stuff will put a smile on your face and on a nice cut of meat, whether chicken or beef, Buffalo, armadillo or rabbit, this is really what you need to bring out the full flavor.

remember as it says on the label...........

Shake Well

Next week Ill review the other new one. Stay tuned for Whaaa's world famous, World of HOt SauCe ReVieW.

I'm a big fan of hot sauce, but I find the Habanero ones just too hot and they tend to overpower the flavour of the food I put it on.
And the next day there's "fire in the hole", if ya know what I mean.

I recently discovered Frank's Buffalo Wing Sauce, it's become a favorite on eggs and meat around are place.

I posted a recipe that I make when I'm canning.
Here's a link to my Jalapino Hot Sauce if you want to try it out.

Hmm... we've had the Habanero Tabasco here for a while now. At least 3 years? Maybe that's because I'm in Louisiana though.

This is what I use: Schexnayder's Acadian Habanero Hot Sauce. This stuff is Awesome!!!

I say the hotter the better. I cannot even taste anything from plain Tabasco sauce. It just tastes like vinegar to me.

I'd really like to try some Schexnayder's but I suppose I'll have to wait until the next Jazz Festival when I'm in your part of the country.

We here in the "Land of Enchantment" pride ourselves on our spicey red and green chili sauce but when it comes to really hot stuff; we're lightweights to you delta folks.

As far as I can tell, most hot sauces taste the same. They all vary in heat, but it's not about the heat, it's about the flavor. Frank's is about the best you can get in my opinion.

I frequent a BBQ joint called Rudy's and they have a BBQ sauce that they claim is hot; well it's not. It's sweet and flavorful and makes their dryass meat a little easier to choke down but thats about all.

The Sanitary Tortilla Factory use to have some stuff they made that would put hair on your chest but I don't even know if they are still open.

And for all you Taco Bell fans; their sauce that comes in the little packets called "fire" ; you might as well throw it out in the yard as it taste like some kind of chemical you might clean your sink with.

I pledge to stay on the quest for the "hot sauce of the Gods" and report back here any breaking "hot sauce" news as soon as it becomes available.

I sincerely want to thank all the posters so far because any and all information is greatly appreciated.

Until next week this is whaaa signing off. May the good Lord take a liking to ya!!

I've never seen this in a store, but a friend of mine works at the E.D. Smith plant in Winona, Ont. and gets me a jar once in a while.

It's called Caribbean Jerk Grilling Sauce, and it's so good on chicken.

The jar I have here says "Sample Only" so I'm not even sure you can buy it.
I like to soak the chicken legs in it over night and BBQ them the next day.

I once heard my girl friend praying to the good Lord to just take her home as she was sitting on the throne after a nite of Cuervo, Bud lite, hard boiled eggs dipped in a piquine salsa. I think this is where she got the receipe.

Yes, that was rather funny...

I can't live without my hot sauce either. I have to put "Franks" brand on my eggs, biscuits & gravy...you name it, mostly all breakfast items! I bet I put a large bottle of that stuff away all by myself each month. I think ittaste better that the Tabasco brand.

Greetings all my friends in the quest for "hot sauce of the Gods"

For this installment I have decided to review another Tabasco brand product....

Chipotle flavor.... this stuff is enough to gag a maggot. I hate it. There is absolutely nothing that it tastes good on, it's not hot, it sucks.

I shook it up good just like it said on the bottle. What I should have done is to have thrown it in the trash.

Hey, I'm not sayin don't buy it....you might even like it if you are somekind of weirdo or freak of nature.

Have any of you flavor questers read the Tabasco Box? They have a heat guage called the Scoville Heat Range. Wilbur Scoville invented this in 1912 to measure the heat of peppers. What a crock of bull, If I ever see Wilbur, I'll tell him exactly where to put those heat units.

I'm seriously considering coming out with "Whaaa's Hot Stuff of the Gods Brand" I been on this quest for over 3 weeks now so I think my background is solid. Can I count on you for support?

May the Good Lord take a likin to ya!!

I've been disappointed by most habanero sauces I've tried... they turn out to be just vinegary crap, and not all that hot.

I did come across some awesome Scotch Bonnet sauce while on a business trip, though. Absolutely outstanding, great burn with just a hint of sweetness. Alas, it was a generic brand, not something I've been able to find again.
