This is a very interesting story. Now like any kid I used to watch scary movies and was scared of the things under my bed est. but when I was around
the age 9 (I am now 18) I had only one encounter with something in my house at the time. I woke up one night because I was really thirsty and was
feeling sort of ill. I called for my mother and a few moments after I saw a shadowy figure walk into my bedroom and came to the side of my bed with a
cup in its hand. For a second I actually thought it was my mother and grabbed for the drink (I was still half asleep). After bringing this cup to my
lips I realized I was not getting any water into my mouth. Now I was fully awake sitting up in my bed. I blinked and looked harder at my hand that
was holding the "cup". My hand was in the shape of a C as if I was holding a cup, but there was nothing in my hand. I looked up at this shadowy
figure and notice one distinct thing about it, other then the fact that it wasn't my mom lol. This man was wearing this strange black hat that looks
sort of like a gentleman's hat. After I took a good look at this figure it stood up straight then walked towards my closed closet and proceeded to
walk straight through it. I quickly pulled the covers over my head and closed my eyes, I never saw it again.
But this weird story doesn’t end here. I didn’t tell anyone but my mom the next morning because I didn’t want my little brother making fun of
me for being scared of ghosts. She just thought I was just dreaming... The next morning my brother came downstairs into the kitchen and told
everyone that that night, as he got up to go to the bathroom he saw a strange looking man in the hallway and the man looked up at him. He said the
man proceeded to walk down the stairs to the main floor. He said he ran back into his room and shut the door. My mom asked my brother what did the
man look like. He replied by saying “I could only see his black hat.” My mom looked over at me with shock in her eyes. No one saw this man ever
again after that.
I live in a new house now and I am 18. I haven’t seen something like that since and I am starting to loose interest in this whole ghost thing,
although I will always remember this incident. Its hard to say if I even still believe in ghosts since I know I was just a little kid when it
happened.
What keeps me interested is watching believable movies. These are my favorite and they seem credible. You might have already seen these videos but
these actually make me cautious when I am home alone...
