From 1870 til 1970 8 outta 10 Kluxers (Real Pre 1986 Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Members because after 1986 the Klan was litigated outta existence by the southern poverty law center)were Democrats/Dixiecrats and most of the ones still alive are still Democrats (Grey Hair Democrats) who not only voted for Jimmy Carter but they also voted for George Wallace and Reagan & Nixon at times?

The kkk is still around they have'nt went anywhere your talking like the starting to die off and its just a part of history and their not all democrates.
There was a convention in my town where hundreds of people came here for a kkk meeting and people got angry because they were meeting but the cops couldnt do anything because they wearnt causing trouble they put up posters to show where the meeting was going to take place and on the posters put that it was just a meeting for a historical view. So that may have helped them stay out of trouble.
