Thank you, Devin Hester, for giving us 3 full quarters in which to pretend this year's Super Bowl was a real contest, instead of a game where the two
QB's were scoring points for the same team.
Didn't you just love the part in mid-4th-quarter, when the Bears were trailing by 12 and the announcer said, "The Bears' offense is not built for
this kind of comeback." Translation: The Bears don't have a real passing offense, and it's not because Bernard Berrian, Muhsin Muhammad and
Desmond Clark all suck.
Has anyone ever seem a lamer display of quarterbacking by a guy whose rating was 68.3 for the game? Let's call that Exhibit A for the case in favor
of counting fumbles against a QB's rating.
