Thank you, Devin Hester, for giving us 3 full quarters in which to pretend this year's Super Bowl was a real contest, instead of a game where the two QB's were scoring points for the same team.

Didn't you just love the part in mid-4th-quarter, when the Bears were trailing by 12 and the announcer said, "The Bears' offense is not built for this kind of comeback." Translation: The Bears don't have a real passing offense, and it's not because Bernard Berrian, Muhsin Muhammad and Desmond Clark all suck.

Has anyone ever seem a lamer display of quarterbacking by a guy whose rating was 68.3 for the game? Let's call that Exhibit A for the case in favor of counting fumbles against a QB's rating.

Freakin' Devin Hester almost gave me a heart attack. I just kept saying, "They always start off slow. Nothing to worry about. All is well."
