A video game that lets you make video games.

My best friend just told me that you will be able to down load or buy a game that will let you design games for Xbox Live.

If your game is any good they will put it on Xbox Live and give you some credits or $$ not sure.

If its great they will make it into a real game, and probably hire you.

If this is true, this will be all I will do, all the time. This could be the future I have always dreamed of. I will have to put aside my dream to be a game tester like "Grandma" movie.

If its true this could be a friggin goldmine producing money for Microsoft. Bill rides again into the sunset.

Anybody heard anything about this? Any rumors?

PS He also told me about the ability to download movies in the future that would cost about a quarter a movie, using Xbox live credits. This would kill blockbuster, and all the others.

If this dream is a reality this could be a great world.

I think this is what your talking about...

I stumbled across it a couple of months ago on the XBOX.com website.

It's called XNA Game Studio Express and i believe it is free, however to share and test the games created by this tool you have to join a Creators Club for an annual fee of $99 U.S.

Hmm well any news like that would be on the microsoft site or the xbox site... And i don't see why they would make two seperate programs that ultimately do the same thing... but one you have to pay for...

If you look at it, it is totally free only the uploading of the games....

Oh and also why do you say "And is by microsoft" this product is by microsoft....

There's an even better game design game out there, though it only creates RPGs. I have RPG maker for my PS2 and have made some incredible games, but the time and effort it takes into making it will put some people off.
