Fighter Jet UFO Footage: The Real Deal

Thank you for posting this! I remember watching this on a different site but the video was removed. Someone posted an alleged transcript of the conversation between the pilots and commander on board the ship. I remember reading that one of the pilots said he was flying "like a bat out of hell" but could not gain any ground on the object. They were debating whether or not to engage the craft before it flew away to the left.

Oh man .... another hoax. Geeeeze. Oh well ... back to the Chicago O'Hare sighting. I think that one is a modern 'Roswell' of sorts. It's undeniable. IMHO

Yep, it seems it has all come to an inevitable conclusion. Isaac, thanks for posting the information on file sharing, I've never fully understood how it worked, so your post is appreciated.

The simple fact is that the story, while plausible, had so many inconsistencies and mistakes in that it wasn't funny. IgnorantApe pretty much nailed it from the start. The terminology was all wrong, the understanding of how you transfer TS material off the TS network was wrong, timelines were out, and that fact that the original material was misplaced is beyond belief. That the information was offered early, but never presented despite requests from members, is frankly insulting to our intelligence.

As for the footage itself, I don't think it was done by film-makers. I think it is a genuine DDI display, and having worked with a crappy old targeting pod in the AAS-38 Nite Hawk, the imagery is pretty much spot on to what you see with some targets.

All in all, it smacks of a story being tested on the public here. The research was not bad for the generalist, but under detailed scrutiny fell apart. In the same way that any aviator who has ever watched Top Gun groans in pain with some of the stuff that happens. To Joe Public however, it is spot on. Personally, I'd rather people were upfront with stuff like this. I'm sure the ATS community could help out and offer advice, without having to be duped for it.

And finally, thanks to all who contributed and helped me out, especially Seentoomuch. It is certainly a different forum to the aircraft projects one! Hope to catch you around ATS.

I have closed that thread and have asked staff members to avoid editing any of the posts (even those which can get a bit vulgar) because they constitute "forensic evidence" which members may use to decide for themselves whether they believe this story is true or a hoax.

Laying Our Cards On The Table

I've wanted to afford thefinaltheory/necroflesh every reasonable opportunity to present evidence which supported his claims. With the passage of time and promises to deliver additional evidence unmet, I've become increasingly concerned that by keeping certain information private, I was aiding and abetting a hoax.

Balancing concerns such as protecting sources while aiding disclosure is not easy, and I may well have mishandled this case by trashing the original thread (thus making it unavailable to members), by leaving it in the Trash Bin this long -- or heck, maybe even untrashing it today is a mistake.

However, in light of the nature of the evidence pointing toward a hoax, the need for ATSers to have access to the information available in order to draw their own conclusions about this story and the increasing unlikelihood that thefinaltheory/necroflesh is who he claims to be, I'm convinced that now is the time to lay our cards on the table.

I welcome all questions or comments regarding my handling of this story, but do ask -- in light of how heated it has gotten previously -- that we try to avoid any unnecessary profanity in our posts.

Or perhaps he found out / realized he was in over his head and could not back up his contentions with hard evidence as proof.

Actually shots, I wouldn't be surprised if he did, of course granted what he has said is true.

There is a downside to running a conspiracy site. It is not all just theories, stories, news, discussions and arguments. Maybe once upon a time it was so simple but now with the high visibility and the popularity of ATS come added responsibilities which I am sure you are now totally aware of. There are some situations that will most certainly show up on your doorstep from time to time that need to be addressed with some sort of guidelines and the need for them was evident in this thread.

I’ve spent some time in the past two days going over the consequences of releasing stolen U.S. classified information for various reasons to the public or to certain groups. It is not something that should be taken lightly and laughed off with “just post it” comments, it is a very serious situation should a true whistleblower show up here. And with the increasing visibility of ATS it is becoming more likely.

Should ATS consider releasing such information here is a list of concerns to be addressed:

Number one is the protection of the identity of the whistleblower. (Had TFT been legit it was exactly right for you to delete the initial thread, Majic, but also with a hold on starting a new thread until the information had been gone over and the consequences weighed. If the information was of great import and undoubtedly deserved to be released some method should be sought)

Number two is the concern of releasing information that could harm U.S. security, such as methods of response for unidentified aircraft or other emergencies. Release of such information would put our own people at risk. (It is crucial for the information to be scrubbed of all operational information as well as identities and locations)

Number three is to let you know that in the U.S. it means prison time. The sentences are configured to the degree of damage to our security and people it has put in harms way. One of the sentences I saw was for 36 years. I also noticed that the higher level of govt. the perpetrator was at the lower the sentence. The regular joe always, always got the full sentence.

So it would make sense for ATS to develop a procedure for classified information being released on ATS. I previously thought that the members could interview the whistleblower, but upon further study it would be best for the admin to interview and perhaps pull in some qualified members to verify the authenticity of the information. This would serve two purposes:

one, it would discourage hoaxers knowing that they would have to go through an intense, detailed interview;

two: it would keep the information in a controlled environment until it could be released in a safe form and manner.

So, just my 2 cents on a theoretical situation here on ATS, it’s almost like its own country, developing rules and laws as it grows, interesting,

Wrong decision or not to remove the thread initially it's being shown to us now which i think is a good call!, i certainly wouldn't beat yourself up about it, if it wasn't for TFT creating crap (In my opinion) in the first place none of this would have happened. If anything it has been a brilliant project for members like Isaac to dissect the claims and get to the bottom of the subject.

Just hate it when the initial poster goes silent, they could at least put in a quick post to say "OK ya got me" but alas nothing so far. That obviously leaves you thinking that maybe he has actually been silenced but in this case i think it is HIGHLY unlikely.

The internet is the last place a whistleblower would use especially a conspiricy site.This thread allong with others just proves there are a lot of people using these sites for fun.

What makes you think that I am in anyway shape or form a dual identity of tft? that makes no sense ( but then again it does considering that this a conspiracy page, but none the less, I digress).
