it does not matter what it is. take water for example. granted the chemicals in water serve a purpose, but i can bet you in large quantities they are toxic.

fruits and veggies... how do you think they keep maggots and bugs and critters out of them? chemicals. are these chemicals good for you to eat? no they are not.

even in wheat crops im sure they spray somekind of insectiside to keep bugs away, this adding chemicals to the wheat. god only knows what kindof chemicals are added in animal feel for animals like pigs and cows to keep them in tip top shape.

i know all of these chemicals are there for a reason... but maybe they could limit the amounts? sometimes when i eat certain foods i can just taste all that MSG and other garbage gushing out.
you know what im talkin about?

It really depends where you are.
Everything has chemicals, but it depends how much, if things wold resume to chemicals that protect from bugs it would be okay.
Also , tommatos, patatos, cocumbers, and other fruits and vegetables have more taste when they are natural grown, for example eat a tommato that is 100 procent natural grown and eat a tommato that is chemicaly
enhaced, the taste does not compare to the original thing.

I have a 56 year-old sister who is food-phobic. She has to know everything that's in every food. And according to her, just about anything edible is bad for you. Whenever we go to a restaurant she always and only eats salmon.....never chicken, never meat, never anything else. She doesn't do milk or dairy (she does rice milk). And stays away from sugar (it makes her mouth and tongue burn??). Just about anything she eats causes her some kind of allergic or weird reaction. She eats bread for breakfast (nothing else). Skips lunch. Eats a big dinner. Works out everynight and walks. Preaches to me about good health. According to her everything I eat is horrible.

And while she's telling me all this she sits and drinks her white russians and manhattans and smokes her cigarettes.

Go figure.

We're all gonna die somehow. Some people have been eating junk all their lives and live very long. It's all in the genes and what yours can handle.
Food is good!
I say eat it and enjoy it like it's your last meal.

Well, I can't be in acordance with you.
Number one reason for desise in united states has to do with over weight and chemical imbalances, from there you got diabitis, alsimer and others such as parkinson, it has to do with the chemicals in the food.
Also the doctor recomands that drinking in a surtain amount is actuly healthy, having a glass or 2 of wine, or a few shots of vodca before meal can acctuly be good for your health, alcohol also prevents heart attacks, improves blood flow, and it does relax your brain, it's acttuly better to drink 2 glasses of wine than take prozac, way better.
Alcohol can also create apetite for eating, it also helps with digestion.
You can drink every day as long as you know how much you are drinking, and it's actuly good to have a few drinks a day.
People that point to others that drink in a reasonable way are the pill generation, that is how I like to call them, if you drink a bottle a day now I would say that yes, it's bad, and it will mess up your liver, if you take a bottle of vitamins and swalow them all then you got the same effect, vitamins are also good but if you take too much you will get intoxicated, same for medicine, same for alot of things that are good to your organism.

My gradpa smoked and lived 100, but I do admit that smoking is bad, but not as bad as puting chemicals in your food, that is the worst thing it can happen to you.
Do this, smoke 2 years and then quit, then eat for 2 years at mecdonalds evey day and see what messes you up worse.

Chemicaly enhaced food is the number 1 killer.

take a look at this video (about chems in food ). Sure I believe the GM is bad also the food where we have chems involved in the chain. Here in the UK people are more aware of this and the shops have so called "Organic" food. This can go from "organic" to "fully organic" . The last one means that the land for example got no chems for at least 5 years. Then the food is considered to be fulluy organic. Also the GM.Anyway this food is 2-3 times more expensive than the "normal" food. Actually the organic food is the normal food hehe

How do you know its really organic? Because it says so?

Pffft.

People really should look into the workings of these so called farms. Oh they may be inspected once in awhile... or perhaps just once, but they are not "organic" in every aspect.

And why does it cost more? Shouldn't it be cheaper with all the chemical savings ! hahaha

I live and work on a farm. I could say my grain is organic. How would you know?

Who tells you it is organic?

Can you believe them? No you cannot.
