games that really stayed in my mind that have to be:
hl 1 and 2
diablo 1 aaaa dejavu,diablo 2 and dungeon siege 2
F.E.A.R deffinetly gived me inspiration for my future job :d NOW THATS A GAME it has even a nuclear explozion in the end!

what else...
i dont know but alyx was just awesome in hl2 and episode 1 dont know if i was attached so much to other game character

Half life 2,Heart of darkness,Timesplitters2,R type,Halo 1+2 and Ninja Gaiden are all truly great games(and feindishly addictive).
"Resistance -fall of man" on the Ps3 looks like a winner too!

When I first got the game I stayed up for over 24 hours playing it, went to go to a buddies place and almost found myself car jacking someone, thankfully my coffee addled brain kicked and thought that maybe it wouldn’t be the best idea to do something like that.

im not saying this because it the boards but i think area 51 is my favourite game

Classic ff vi FF8 FF9 was ok Tried to play FF10 and FF10-2 but didn't get the sphere system. Was able to beat FFiv and FF8.
Xenogears
Suikoden 2-5
Breath of Fire series.

Thats all I can think of but I like RPG games.

Best and favorite games. That's a toughie.

In no particular order:

Rise of the Triad (I recently found a good DOS emulator and downloaded it again, after ten years, to enjoy playing it. So I guess it counts as my favorite game of all time)

Diablo 1 and 2

Heretic

Online Half-Life Death Match Classic. I'm particularly fond of the arenas where gravity is much less than normal.

Caesar 3 held my interest for a good long time.

Yeah, looking at my list, I qualify as OLD.

My all time faves:
Elite
Goldeneye,
SuperBomberman,
GravityPower,
SuperMarioKart(esp on SNES)
and Worms.

(cant believe nobody else has even mentioned any of these!!)
And yes, the Atari Jaguar was way ahead of its time(1st 64bit console), probably why it failed.

Most loved game??

Ultima VII The Black Gate and ultima VII Serpent Isle. Hands down the best RPG I have ever played.
