As german citizen living in the US, I can tell you a few things about germany.....

I can actually tell you that its rather sad to be German these days. And its all thanks to the pansy that's sitting in office and has the audacity to call himself chancellor!!

Gehard Schroeder is like a virus, destoroying Germany from within. election year after election year that punk bitch is "voted into office" by a seemingly mindless populace. All the fool does is say that he opposes all war and conflict and everyone votes for him. Germans are so scared of German military strength that they are willing to blindly follow any goon that promises to keep Germany as far away from military power as possible.Its this same business of following people blindly that got Germans into trouble during WWII. His military budget cuts (last of which were just last month) threaten to leave the country in a weak and defensless state.

Schroeder is an american/english lap-dog thats scared of bilateral Anglo-amercian reprisals for "stepping out of line". As the strongest economy in europe, its about time that Germany matched its economic strength with its military strength. Only when Germany gets some military credibility will the rest of the world accredit it with the repect that it deserves and give her a permanent seat on the UN security council along with the other "world powers"... (why Russia is on the SC completely eludes me).
