Ship appears news story

I had a question concerning a news report on TV some years ago (late 80s early 90s) that a ship appeared in a harbor then disappeared. Sounds "PX" to me but I have never seen anything about it on any PX forums. I did discuss this on a board years ago and one other member remembered it too! She said it was on the evening news and then never seen again. (Actually, it was on the teaser for that evenings news but then never was mentioned) Nothing in the papers etc.. This was not near April 1st since that thought crossed my mind at the time. I did some searches on ATS and many other sites but could find no mention. This story was the reason I found out about the "PX" in the first place, up until then I had never heard of it or seen the movie etc... I just wanted to find out if anyone had ever seen this news story besides me and the girl in that other forum. PX Philidelphia Experiment

I watched a show about the Philidelphia Experiment two nights ago on cable TV. I think it was NGEO or History Channel.

They were supposed to have made the ship and it's crew to disappear and reappear. According to the show it really happened. I also heard that some of the crew members developed cancer or some other physical stuff later in life because of it.

Good luck searching. If I could back search the TV I would give the proper network for you to check into it

go watch the vids, and you will find other links to vids on this. the more interesting stuff is the montauk story, which is supposed to be a for runner of the harrp project.

they have released a book series on the montauk project, might seem far out to some, but you can guarentee that experiments similar to these would of taken place.

I guess I should give a little more information. Because of the story I spoke of, I have been researching the PX for 8-10 years as well as Montauk and HAARP. I even tried to visit Montauk while visiting NJ on business but just didn't have enough time. LOL I thought about posting in the PX forum but another member suggested this one. I may still post in the PX forum but I think this was a completely different event. PX happened during WWII and this event happened late 80s or very early 90s.

The part that really spooks me is how fast it disappeared from the news!
Gone, vanished totally! Are there others who have seen something like that on this forum? Forget what the story was about for a minute and just realize that the story went from regional to gone in about 30 minutes or less! This other girl who saw the same report was from another state and saw it on her local news so it wasn't just one outlet that yanked the story that fast.
