ufo lights

What is the opinion on the lights that are on ufo's? Are they for navigational use like on earthly aircraft or are they some kind of scanning beam or something else?

They are probably both, considering sometimes they appear to be simply lighting up a specific area of interest and sometimes they appear to have somthing simply magic about the lights. Good question.

It's odd because lights are a dead give away for a UFO right? (unless its a way to attempt to blend in with aircraft in our skies, a good attempt or bad). If they have traveled all this way through space or another dimension there are obviously very intelligent beings inside (or controlling it). Navigation lights seem to archaic (SP) Same with it being a form of communication.
