The guy who HELPED get Saddam...

Was arrested and he will NOT get the 25 Million the government OWNS him!

How does the government want to catch Bin Laden if they showed here that if you HELP USA you will be put in JAIL and you will NOT get your REWARD...

Instead he will be facing a trail!!!

Under what circumstances and on what charges is he facing trial? Where can I read/watch the information about this guy?

I do agree with you in principal that they should pay a reward if this person has delivered up Saddam.

Has anyone suggested that this person and Saddam may be in cahoots? Nah, that does not make any sense does it?

I think that this person needs a good lawyer to fight for their money owed, maybe Jacko's lawyer can take on annother case...

I agree neo that this guy might be wanted for something else...

but still he helped ALOT and he gets a thumb up his ASS!

I think they should give him the money and let him free..

cause he helped with the capture...

this guy was either Saddams bodygaurd or family...

He tricked them first(sent them to another town) and only talked the truth after "special requests" - so why bother giving him something? He can be happy to live.

The 25 million was meant for people who came out of their own ambition to the US forces and give out valueable information. So no cookies for him

What does "special requests" supposed to mean???

Does anyone have a reliable and detailed account of how they finally got Saddam? Who else besides this guy also helped with info? What the excuse is for now saying this guy didn't lead to his capture, exactally....as in detailed reason why??

With special request I assumed that they did some torturing to get the info out of him. Not that I am against penetrating the biggest scum on earth

All in all it says he was betrayed by a rich thick man from a small town in Iraq who had very close ties to Saddams family but wasnt related to it.

This fat ass was found in one raid a few days before and interviewed till they finally got the info. They even took him with them on the final raid for Saddam

Ok, so going off what you say or atleast translated here, there is no reward money going to this guy cause the info was actually extracted from him and not willfully submitted with the intention of recieving the bounty or prize money.

Well, I suppose if that is fact then that is understandable. Not like the guy will be able to spend it anyway locked up or dead.

So now what is supposed to happen with the 25 million??

IMO I think the greedy politicians already have thier 5 sticky fingers all over it and intend on keeping it for themselves. (Not like that would be different than any other crooked deal which they do any other average day as we already know.) That is not acceptable in any way however!! It should still be paid to Victims and thier family or to rebuild the country or something of that nature though if nothing else.

As someone else pointed out, doing something positive with it is also in their best interest or any other offer will be considered fake as well. That plus everyone outside the U.S. already hating us for one reason or another won't go over too well I imagine.

See how it is with the Bush Crime Family. SOmepeople never learn....

Has it occurred to anyone that the whole Saddam "finding" was a sham? A setup for political reasons (GWB)? Perhaps this "informant" is being persecuted to remove his testimony or keep him from "talking" about what really happened.

We have no way of knowing what is really going on over there. It's all speculation, but if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it probably is George W. Bush coverup. Oops... I mean a Duck.

If you check the facts you will find that he will not get the reward because HE DID NOT VOLUNTARILY TURN IN SADAAM. He was arrested and interrogated before the info about Sadaam came to light. He was harboring Sadaam, not turning him in.

yeah if i find osama i sure as hell wont tell after seeing this guy get jipped, osama would probably pay me more to shut up... i just think it sucks that the US went back on their word like that
