I was working away in Word today, and my computer crashed in a really weird way. Luckily, I had saved my work.

I was highlighting text and dragging it in other parts of the document, when I accidentally clicked on the internet explorer button in the taskbar and dragged it into Word. Then my computer just shut down, and came back on again, as if I had just rebooted.

Did I accidentally paste the contents of the entire internet in my word processor?

Just something I wanted to share.

Lol I don't really have an answer to this...

One thing that Windoze does is when it encounters a serious error, it restarts the computer. That is the default settings anyway.

I have no idea why that would cause one of these serious errors though.

I mean dragging an .EXE into Word is totally acceptable - Thats how a lot of viruses are spread, through word documents in emails, lol.

But if you dragged it from the taskbar, it would of only been a shortcut to the program probably, so I don't know... That's one weird crash.
