I'm doing research, and I'm rather lost...care to shed light on it for me?

I've been doing some independent research on the Pyramids of Giza. As I got further into my research, the more it didn't make sense to me that, this ancient culture could have done all of their architecture without some sort of help. When researching the pyramids the question came up, of, could the Egyptians be a branch off of the Atlantians? I'm full of questions and curiosity. I'm sort of hitting a wall in my research where I'm getting more lost in it that I'm learning from it.
So my question is, is there anyone who could shed some light on this for me? Give me your thoughts on how the pyramids lined up with Orion’s belt in 10,500 BC? how they knew the longitude and latitude lines of the earth? Could they be connected with the lost city of Atlantis?
As you can see, I'm a little lost on the subject. I'm open to opinions, thoughts, web sites anything that I can venture my research further into.

I'm in need of food for thought....I'm very curious

Maybe I'm searching in the wrong places....?
anywho here are some questions that I have...they may be retorical, but here goes nothin....

So its said that the Greeks gods were the Kings of Atlantis? Ok, So does this mean that the kings and certain people of Atlantis had “super” powers? And if so, where did they get them from? Were they just a super race that was born with them? Or are the true atlantians considered aliens?

Did the Greeks share the same religion as the Atlantians? Or just the belief, that the atlantians were Gods? Hence the Greek Gods

So the kings/queens of Atlantis, eventually became the deities of the Greek beliefs as well as the Romans...does this mean that the 12 deities of Atlantis are the same deities that the Egyptians believed in?

Thus if the Kings of Atlantis were the Gods of the Greek, the Olympus should have been Atlantis?

I dunno thats just the start of a billion questions I have.
If you care to go off on a tangent on them....please do I'm up for any ideas.

Thanks
!

Have you studied the history of their architecture from 5000 BC, or are you just looking at Giza? You really do yourself a disservice if you think pyramids and sphynx were the only things they built.

Here's the history of pyramid architecture (remember that there's over 100 of them in Egypt alone and hundreds more in Nubia from the Nubian pharaohs)

When researching the pyramids the question came up, of, could the Egyptians be a branch off of the Atlantians?

No.

There's ancient sites there going back 10,000 years and further. The Ancient Egyptians are Egyptian. Nor is there any unexplained leap in technology. They develop at the same rate as the other civilizations around the Mediterranean.

Wikipedia gives a good summary of what's known:
en.wikipedia.org...

This is one of the oldest civilizations and has good records (including millions of pieces of text that, thanks to the Rosetta Stone and other multiple language texts) we can actually read. So we have a good idea of what they thought and said.

Give me your thoughts on how the pyramids lined up with Orion’s belt in 10,500 BC?

They didn't -- or at least no more than any other spot on earth diid back then (or does today.) You can make the Eiffel Tower line up with Orion's belt if you choose your points carefully. In order to make the "orion belt" scheme work, you have to turn the map of Egypt UPSIDE DOWN.

So, from the ground (or from the air) there's really no correlation.

Nor is there a "perfect match" on the angle, as many curious investigators have found out (in attempting to verify Hancock's data, they found instead that he was quite wrong.)

So its said that the Greeks gods were the Kings of Atlantis?

I'm afraid you're reading some speculative sites. Plato said they were ordinary people. The only ones attributing "super powers" to them were Cayce and his followers.

Plato said the Atlanteans were defeated by Athens. Athens at the time he was writing and before then was a Bronze Age civilization. 9,000 years before Plato's time, Athens was a stone age culture.

The Greeks didn't believe in Atlantis. There are no myths about it and no references (beyond one sentence that talks about the daughters of Atlas.) There are no references to gods coming from some advanced place.

So the kings/queens of Atlantis, eventually became the deities of the Greek beliefs as well as the Romans...does this mean that the 12 deities of Atlantis are the same deities that the Egyptians believed in?

They're not even close.
Egyptian gods:
www.ancientegypt.co.uk...
Greek Gods:
www.godchecker.com...

These gods "emerged" and "disappeared" throughout the civilizations' histories, so... we know that the oldest Egyptian gods were Bast and Hathor and Horus (Re and the others came much later) and the oldest Greek deities included Artemis (who's not very much like Hathor or Bast) and Pan (who's REALLY unlike any Egyptian deity.) The Greek deities are much younger than Egyptian ones.

Wow, erm, thank you.
Simply what I needed. I'm actually very knowledgeable on these subjects, Its just there are a few kinks that I couldn't work out...so to get the answers I wanted, I put them in a simplified layman’s term. So I could get the basic simple answers I inquired about.

Thank you for the sites and your opinions.....very useful!
