Please people, in order to start anew you must release the baggage

I'm talking about people who know they are in a dead-end relationship & are looking for a new one but are still hanging onto the dead-end one.

Come on, wake up! Don't you know that the irony is that you have to be "alone" 1st to not be alone? You will also reap more respect for yourself & from others this way.

And don't give me this sh.it about being afraid to be alone! You're just being f**king disrespectful toward yourself & the person you're intent on hanging onto until you find someone else. It's also called "infidelity".

How common is this phenomenon of being in something not-quite-right and looking forward to something beyond it while being still in it? Yeah, it is unfaithfulness, worse if the self-hater decides to take on the next thing on some kind of a trial basis.

Breaking up may be hard to do. I think I need it clearly for closure, peace of mind, clear expectations and freedom.
