You could try to convert the video files to smaller size I know a few sites with free software to do this if needed and also nice thread

I've just posted up my latest News Station Report as an observer. I'm getting closer but without the change in equipment I fear that i'll always be one step behind. The Camcorder & Tech questions thread is helping me to assertain what upgraded equipment I will need.

I updated the news station observatory report based on my couple of hours observation on the 7th. Just visit the link in my signature and from the home page go to News it should be the first entry

I thought I'd update the Project Skywatch Website. I have two videos/footage from my observations on the 7th and 9th of April.
You can read the station reports on the news part of the site here:
Project Skywatch News

As always if there are any major developments I will come back and update here too, if you have any ideas you think would benefit the site or project either send me a U2U or if you have less than 20 posts you can send me an email. to [email protected]

I've just had a 4th Member sign up to observe and be part of the project skywatch network. If you are already skywatching and observing and would like to sign up to report in on a weekly basis any sightings or reports please contact me via U2U or by email.

Just to let you guys interested, observation footage from the 14th is now up on my youtube channel. The links are on the website. As per the 'clear airways UK thread' due to the volcanic ash, airports are shut down this evening.

Footage from tonights observations should be online later on this afternoon.

Posting a regular update:
Since the 14th Observation update. I've Also observed on the 16th and on the 18th more recently on the 21st.

I'm pleased to announce that observation videos and updates are now published for the 16th and 18th. Because of all the clear skies and good weather i've been out observing alot, hence my lack of appearance here recently on ATS!

I haven't yet published the Observation or station report for the 21st, and i'm a tad behind with it. I am heading out later on in about 1 1/2 hours from now, i'll setup at around 3:30am, this strange recording time should be explained more by my station report for the observations on the 21st.

Anyone interested, you can read the updates here:
Project Sky Watch > News

Thanks for the messages of support and again, I'm always looking to recruit new observers and participants, just send me a Pm if you want to join in.

Fantastic idea that I have seen suggested a few times during my time as an ATS reader. One of those times even I brought it up, although I can't remember in what thread.

But that doesn't really matter because what I see here is the idea finally taking flight. I'd like to contribute but right now my living situation is in a state of flux. June 1st I should have everything squared away and be able to actively skywatch.

Ok,
Tell you what. I'll add your username to the notepad, and i'll send you a Private Message in June to remind you, and if your still interested i'll add you to the observation participants list and site map

Thanks for your interest.

Ok Guys
Weather permitting here in Manchester Region I havent had any good opportunities to record. However. I have been busy publishing my entry from April 22nd. This was a geniune UAP sighting somewhere between 03:30 and 3:55am. I estimate the sighting to be around 03:45am lasting around 7 minutes.

You can read about it on my skywatch website report here as well as the link to the video.

Great thread!

I record by using a modified 8mm Sony attached to an 8" Newt, with a small LCD attached for easier viewing, plus a modified 9x50 with a modified webcam attached, and a small refracter piggy backed with an LPI attached, which if nothing is happening else where I point to the moon and hit 'capture' if anything interesting catches my eye - obviously the other 2 are viewed on the laptop, with the newt having the LCD. All of which is mounted on a HEQ5 mount.

I would love to get involved in this though if I can help in any way.
