CAn hyperopia be corrected by eating green veggies?

I have hyperopia(thanks to gaming which i now rarely play).
My power is +0.5L and +0.25R.I wear glasses(with anti radiate coating) but i want to experience the natural way.So how long would it take for my eyesight to be 20\20 and what other steps should i take so that my eyesight quickly correts? and is it true that + powers increases over time?
I eat carrots and if i take cod liver oil(7 seas) would it help?
i have been wearing my glasses since last sept.
