Reports of computer hacking against U.S. defence assets by Chinese military sources has been in the news as well lately.

The purpose of all this would seem to be the desire to have freedom of action in any regional dispute by blinding U.S. observational and control satillites.

A demonstration of these capabilities in a limited sense, i.e., not completely destroying early warning ballistic missile detection, would be a trigger for a larger conflict.

none sense,
the US is making this up so they can:

1) start to militarize their own space programs

2) get excuse to furthur increase their military spending

it's basically a US propaganda

Not really. Its been well documented that the Chinese are hacking into military systems, whether it be for espionage or whatever else. They definitly are becoming a major threat, I just hope that if the day comes when we face off with China we arent destroyed because our president had a vendetta for another country instead of a genuine care of actual threats.
