Active X Yellow Bar Help

All of a sudden getting that yellow active X bar
at every click of my mouse .

" Your security settings do not allow web sites to use active X
controls installed on this computer"

I went to tools in my IE and looked through every security item
and have enabled all.yet still get this yellow bar

Can someone tell me how to adjust this ??

If your getting this alert when browsing with IE, Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Open Internet Explorer

Up the top click Tools and then Internet Options

Now go to Security

You will see four icons, Internet -- Local Intranet -- Trusted Sites -- Restricted Sites

Click on each one individually and select the Default Level which you will notice just below.

Now click on Custom Level and scroll down to where it says:

Automatic Prompting for ActiveX Controls

Enable This!

Now scroll down alittle more and look for:

Run ActiveX Controls and Plug Ins

Enable This!

Click OK and Reopen another IE window.

Problem should be resolved!

Adding a bit to what Chiss has told you above, this is particularly the case with IE 7, as it has far more security layers than any previous vers of IE. A little OT, but interesting (to me), is that the IE 7 tabbed browsing features, etc, are based on the Mozilla FF OSS core. Maybe MS is getting a clue?

I've updated my IE the other day, even though I still run FireFox, but I had noticed the tabbed browsing with explorer. It is about time if you ask me.

I did get rid of the yellow bar , but am now having trouble with
my flash player.
I reloaded it and it works fine in Mozilla,
but in IE it throws me back to that load the player page,
and then says it's loaded. I then refresh the page
and nada..no player.

Have tried manual download as well as update and still nothing.
I may just have to cruise in Mozilla all the time!!
LOL...
