Generals Casey and Abizaid didn't get fired. Casey is taking General Schoomaker's job(he's retiring), and General Abizaid is retiring too. You do realize that Generals rotate, and there's nothing unusual about it. Both of those guys had already been there for a while, so their tours were up.
