If these planes were "remote controlled" then how does the truth movement account for the passengers phoning their relatives explaining the hijackers?

Could it be that only one plane was hijacked and the corrupt government people saw an opportunity to turn it into something bigger? Or all planes were hijacked and the government let it happen on purpose and made measures to demolish the buildings on time, etc.
