"Green light in the sky?"

I have got to run to work, but as i checked the drudge this story was on there, the information given is non-discript and there is a picture someone got of the event. The object in the picture, if it is the object in the near center of the picture, seems to be rather close to the camera, and near the surface. Any thoughts on this?

It is interesting in the fact that it was that low that meteorology didn't pick it up.

Another interesting point is that they don't call it a UFO in the article anywhere, it always referred to as a 'meteor' or 'satellite'... how do they fly horizontally across the sky at that low height?

The photo is fairly useless because it can't be enlarged and i can't see much in it except for what looks like an orange light skimming a freeway...

Interesting that they only post a capture from the video, and not the video itself. I've been searching the web and cant find anything about this event.
